OK, well lets put it this way, if lace strings cost the same as cotton which would you buy and why?

My theory is that you'd buy cotton for everyday use with lace for when you want to excite that certain someone, because cotton are more comfortable.

Personally, you'd almost have to pay me to wear lace. I think I own a whopping three items of clothing that have lace on them, and they're all worn RARELY.

So what do I do?

Mostly cotton for daily wear, and instead of lace I wear microfiber stuff -- my husband LOVES it.

And since it's been brought up, I can and do wear 'regular' panties but prefer my thongs.

Prevent me? I'm not exactly sure. Probably choice of outfits, or something like that. I like my thongs over the 'regular' ones simply because if it's going to ride up my ass anyways, it might as well start there. Sometimes it's especially nice to wear them the day after some heavy duty anal play. Others it's nice to simply feel them and be aware of them throughout the day. If they fit correctly, I don't get that wedgie feeling up against my tailbone, just a nice comfortable reminder throughout the day that I do have that erogenous zone... that, and it's always nice to not have panty lines if people will have the opportunity to look at your ass in fitted trousers.

I'm sure there's other reasons, but it's 2 AM and I'm just biding time until the hubby gets off work.

I prefer cotton - or actually a cotton/lycra mix. Perfect for undies - soft and comfy, yet stretchy. I have lace - but they are mostly for putting on right before my lover comes over. I know they won't be on long! lol I bought a thong - mostly out of curiosity - and ended up loving it. Especially under dresses. Almost like being without panties....only sexier!

first off if a thong or gstring is sexy Im gonna
wear it w/or without a man. Most times I buy
sets when it comes to lingerie. Walk into Victorias
select bra and gstring.
Never have i had a gstring or thong that was uncomfortable
but have had panties in the past irritate my waist and legs
damn I wont wear them.
I think if you are engaging in anal play you dont see
wearing a thong or gstring in the same way.
Hence the string of material is no longer considered
invading. You become much more aware of that part
of you body and want to show it off.
