The American Family Association, a conservative Christian organization has targetted Kraft Foods for being a major sponsor of the Gay Games 2006.

They are urging the people on their mailing lists to call Kraft via a toll free number to complain about the sponsorship. So I called Kraft to praise them.

The Kraft representative that I spoke with was upfront and unapologetic about the sponsorship of the Gay Games. I was told that my comments would be forwarded to the Marketing and Advertising departments.

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to voice support for Kraft? It is under attack for supporting the GLBT community and perhaps it would be good to show we appreciate them.

Their toll-free number is 1-800-323-0768

I think it's a very good idea to call them and give them your support, so they don't go the way of Microsoft.

I totally agree that it's a good idea to call them. Let them know that the glbt community appreciates their support, plus let them know that there are other people out there besides the religious right! Plus you'll probably make some reps day by calling in to compliment and thank you instead of to bitch.

Kraft can go to Hell. Kraft is blood food. Don't buy the blood cheese unless you don't mind funding murder.
