This rule has me soooooo fucking pissed I can't even talk.... when the subject comes up! It cost me a scholarship years ago

I find the fact that the team is forced to be four men and four women insulting. Why not have whomever plays the best, male or female, be on the team? If that means one woman for every fifty men, I'm comfortable with that as I can be confident that this one woman is equal to her peers.
