I have long been compiling a list of bands that I would like to hear. I wonder what Kool and the Gang of Four Tops would sound like? Funky punk with motown harmonies?
I've probably come up with hundreds of these. Perhaps we can have some fun with this and make a game out of it. The "rules" are pretty simple.
1)Put together two or more band names by using the first and last words in the name:
Blood, Sweat and Tears combined with Tears for fears becomes Blood, Sweat and Tears For Fears
2) Insert a band name into the middle of another band name:
Rage Against The Machine combined with Tin Machine becomes Rage Against The Tin Machine.
Use perfomer names or bands. I'll list a few to get things rolling - feel free to join in.
Jan and Dean Martin
Blind Faith Hill
Ringo Starship
Carly Simon and Garfunkel
Moody Blues Traveler
Backstreet Boys II Men at Work
Jay Z and the Americans
If you want, feel free to describe the type of music they would play.
This one doesn't actually fit into the rules - but its funny enough to be an exception:
Aunty Eminem
