Know any good webhosts?

I'm sick of geocities, tripod and angelfire.. Anyone know a quality web hoster who won't bombard my guests with popups and banners? Where I can have space and speed?

I've got money but the only places I've found so far as asking for a $129 monthly or they're the cheap freesites.

Come on people, think of it, you could get your dose of Never on a daily basis!

Free servers, I always used crosswinds.net
They used to be ad free,but now have a popup ad (Temporarily, which doesn't really bother me, since if you just leave the popup open and minimize it, it doesnt fly in your face every three seconds.)They also have unlimited webspace.

As for my domain hosting, I use hostmatters.com
Domain hosting starts at 5.95 a month for the cheapest,(My package is 9.99) and I believe you can register a domain through them, although I just went through register.com

@ $129 you can have a site hosted...

for at least a year including a CGI bin.

I will have a word with a friend in the morning and ask him, he has just moved his and I believe it is for 2 years not 1 and it cost him $116.
