I'm looking for a story that I have read while back but can't remember the title.
The story was about a knight who was in charge of protecting a princess by her parents. The princess decides to sneak out with her male friend to the town to attend a feast (i think) but she gets kidnapped and the knight eventually leads his men to rescue her. At the end, he rescued the princess and enemy's castle(??) collapses with him still in it but he ultimately survives and he also ends up with the princess.
Can't really remember much more details. Hopefully someone recognizes the story.
