I'm very sad...but happy all at the same time. I just got a job for the summer (the happy part), but now I face quickly moving out of my apartment, trying to figure out how to get out of the last three months of my lease, moving everything into storage near my parents, and then moving to a new state for 3 months only to face doing it again in Sept. Anyway, when you work in theatre this is par for the course.
The sad part of this is, for the first time, I can't take my cats with me. I'm sitting here looking at my fuzzy kitties sleeping so sweetly around me and I'm going to miss them soooo much for the summer. They've been lots of entertainment and lots of love for me and I don't know how I will be for 3 months without them.
OK, so as usual, a longwinded story before I begin my question...
I can't leave them at my parents' because they already have two cats and a dog...and new furniture that my teeny one would try to attack in a heartbeat. (I'm very lax with them...they can sit all over the furniture in my house)
I'm having a hard time finding a friend to keep them...possibly because I made only one friend during my 9 months in CT (not meant to invoke awws...) which is quite fine because I"m soooo happy to be leaving.
Now I'm considering boarding them for the summer...but that's going to be expensive...at least I think it will be.
does anyone have any suggestions or ideas...know of a good pet boarding house either in Northeast Ohio or Northeast Indiana? I would appreciate any ideas.
In the meantime...here is a pic of my #1 kitty head - Poe Mackenzie
