I don't think we have to lose it at all. I personally like going to the edge and then stopping. It allows heated anticipation to build....sexual tension, energy...whatever you want to call it. I have one experience that was like that and to this day it remains my favorite...we could have gone all the way and chose not to. I don't think every encounter, even if you've had sex before has to end in intercourse or even oral sex. Some would say that's frustrating...others it excites.
