I have a King Sized bed.
Yes, four girls could comfortably sleep on it if they know each other well.
Four men could uncomfortably sleep on it.

I'm often sleeping in mine alone if I'm in the middle and stretch all my limbs, I can't touch any edges. When I'm with one other person there is enough room to toss all the way to one side then all the way to the other.

Four girls sleeping in a King is like two girls sleeping in a Twin, which I did all the time in college and high school.

Funny, the beds always got used whenever my kids had sleepovers. Sleepy heads in the mornings under blanket forts were quite common throughout their teens, and very often both genders in communal groupings. With six or eight kids, it was all surprisingly innocent (with occasional wanderings up to a bedroom for some luckier couples...).

We always stayed up all night.
