King is a very beautiful woman who, for several reasons, hides her beauty under men's clothing. First, when King was a little girl, she was sent to Thailand in order to learn Muay Thai, with her baby brother, Jan. King, despite being a woman, demonstrated to be a skillful Muay Thai fighter, and could even face the best of fighters. However, she could not fight in an official tournament because she was a woman. King was very disappointed and at certain points, she despised being a female herself. She also had to take care of her brother Jan.

In the next Muay Thai tournament, all fighters were surprised by a certain fighter who wore a shirt, and very short blond hair. They were even more surprised when that person began advancing in the tournament, with his impressive skills. The mysterious person quickly reached the final battle, where he had to face the current champion. The fight was pretty even, but the man named only "King" was getting the upper hand. In a rage burst, the champion took hold of King's shirt, but King kicked him back. The force of the impact made the champion tear King's shirt, and King's secret soon became evident to the crowd; King was a woman. Everybody was dumbfounded. The organizers considered the final invalid, and threw King away. The humiliated King traveled to the United States, where she would begin a new life with her brother Jan.

King arrived at Southtown, a city with a lot of problems and crime due to the reign of Geese Howard. King opened a bar in downtown since she always liked to drink; called King's Court. However, King hated her womanhood now more than ever, since that incident back in the tournament. She now dresses elegantly as a man, and receives all her guests.

OOC: A laid back RP based around King's little bar and the rest of the KoF crew. The city is Southtown, crime is a major factor but it isn't all that's going on. A current tournament for the King of Fighters 2006 has been recently announced and everyone seems to be ready to get things going. Pick one of the KoF characters or feel free to make your own (post a bio for made-ups). Link to a line up of the characters --> http://www.kof10th.com/english/character/index.php

The information above was taken from Wikipedia cause I'm not that imaginative to write something right now. So yeah, lets get some Char Devo going and plots and plenty of smutt... as you guessed. I'm playing King...

You can play more than one character but lets give others a chance to get in.

King - Kuuroinochou
Terry Boguard - Dragonrazer
Iori Yagami - Chronicle_Tenko
K' - Claret_Dreams

Terry walked into the bar, carrying his usual duffel bag over one shoulder. He adjusted his hat, then looked around. He walked over to a table, and dropped his duffel bag, then sat down in the chair, propping his feet up on the table. "Nice place you got here, King." He looked at her as she sat behind the bar.

Raising a glass King nodded talking to one of the bartenders as she hopped over the bar landing gracefully on her feet. "Thanks. What brings you this way?" she questioned pulling up a chair and taking a seat. "Want anything?" she quickly intrupted as she pour some fresh red wine in her favorite glass.

Terry shrugged, raising the brim of his cap. "Not much, just got into town. Thought I'd stop by and see what you've done for yourself. The usual would be nice." He looked at the blonde, smiling slightly. She'd kept her body in shape, that was certain. She was no Blue Mary though. "So, how have you been? Seen Andy, Mai, or Joe?"

"I was going to ask you the same thing... but no I haven't seen any of them yet." She smiled for a moment getting up to get his usual and sliding it to him upon her return. Taking a seat once more she began to chuckle. "Oh but I have seen Iori recently. That hot head came barreling into my establishment breaking things left and right, he left dragging some poor unsuspecting lad out into the streets. Haven't seen him since and damn if I didn't spend weeks cleaning up after that fool." she smiled Iori was good for a laugh at times.

Terry laughed, then shook his head. That did sound like Iori, that was certain. "What about Blue Mary? I heard she was in the area. Also, I'm looking for a place to stay while I'm in town. Any suggestions?" He sipped from the drink, glad for the taste of it. He had been walking for quite a while, and he could use the refreshment. He shifted his feet for a moment, before settling into the chair again.

"You actually just missed her. She came in a few days ago screaming about something then drove off on her bike..." she chuckled. "I get a lot of those random in and outs." She sat back allowing the chair to balance her weight on the back two legs. Upon thought she rocked forward with a smile. "Well this isn't the world's classiest place, but I got some rooms upstairs. Shower, bath, toliet, a little kitchenette if you're hungry and there's a gorcery mart down the street so you can go shopping for whatever you need."

Terry thought for a moment, considering. The idea had merits, actually. He nodded slowly, then put his feet back on the ground. "Sure. That would be great. So what about your personal life?" He asked, taking his hat off. His blue eyes shown with interest, as he hadn't had much in the way of news in a while.

King chuckled sitting back again but then standing to her feet to hover over him with a pat on his shoulder as she sailed passed. "This is my perosnal life." she said spreading her arms out wide to show her bar. "King's Court its my lover and friend...just watching all my patrons is joy enough for me. Besides when have I ever given a shit about my personal life?" she arched a brow at that but shrugged taking a long sip of her wine. "So shall we show you to your room?"

Terry finished his drink. He stood up, and followed her. As he walked, he allowed his mind to wander over her body. She kept it hidden, but he could tell she didn't need to. "You should go shopping with Mai some time." He grinned, knowing that statement would elicit a response.

"When pigs fly my friend...when pigs fly." She retorted showing him the way up the stairs. Everyone had their opinions about her dress. Sure she was beautiful had a supple and curvacous form but she didn't like being a woman. It never amounted to much but trouble and that's all women were...trouble.

Clearing the landing she walked a ways down a narrow hall to the end until she came upon a door. "This is your room, its not much but cozy. I do expect some form of payment, so unless you plan on sliding down poles, you can work for me for room and board. Just keep the place in order and see Iori doesn't destory my place the next time he's here." She chuckled moving aside to give him space to enter.

Terry grinned, following her up the stairs. Once they were at the door, he smiled, listening to her terms with an amused look on his face. He nodded, then stepped in, looking around, and dropped his bag on the floor. "That shouldn't be a problem. And I should probably keep Joe in line if he should show up too."

"Speaking of which if he gets drunk like that again I'll give him a 'Rose Special' that idiot had this place in an uproar..." she breathed combing her fingers through her hair. "I swear he and Iori should be bosom buddies if they already arent." A bunch of rowdy idiots all dropping their problems at her door. "Oh by the way, has Mai and Andy well tied the knot yet...last I heard they were still going steady."

Terry shrugged. He hadn't known for a while where they were, but he'd probably get an invitation to the wedding over the satellite phone Andy had insisted he get. "Well, I'd probably be the second to know if they did get that far. I just hope Andy doesn't think I'm going to be the best man."

"Yeah and I'm not doing the whole maid of honor thing either..." though King was glad for that, Blue Mary would most likely take that role if anything. "So how do you like your place?" she asked walking over to the window. "Oops, sorry you got the view of the alley out back, bums, druggies, winos and other garbage that tends to hang out back there." she smiled meekishly heading back into the hall. "So you hear about the King of Fighters tournament for this year, its gonna be in town soon. I already sent in my papers..." with a chuckle she kicked up her feet showing her stance. "I wont' go easy on you if we go head to head."

Terry laughed, leaning against the wall. "Wouldn't expect you to. In fact, it would be insulting if you did." He didn't really care about the view out the window. He didn't usually look out windows. He stretched slightly, then sat down in a chair. "How's the bed? Ever try them out?"

She came back inside the room having been standing in the door way. "If I didn't know any better Terry Boguard I'd say you were getting fresh...but no I haven't tried them out for anything aside sleeping." she said chuckling. "But they are horrible on the back, not quite posture pedic material but they'll do."

The male walked through the saloon fashioned threshold, cigarette held delicately on the corner of his lips while smoke plumed from the charred end. When the swinging doors finally ceased their swaying, he let his chin jerk up; it was a sign that he found this place suitable. With a sling bag over his shoulders filled with the necessities, he let them clatter and lay stationary near a tank of liquor. Placing his thumbs in his pockets, he slowly crossed the welcoming area to come to the entourage of barstools in front of the actual bar top, but rather than seat himself he crossed his arms over the tabletop. Lofting a brow, he analyzed the non-existent staff through the tinted sunglasses before whistling loudly in an endeavor to call attention to him. While he waited for a reaction, he propped his elbow up and placed a fingertip to his bottom lip, eyes situated towards the rack of foreign and exotic liquors.

Hearing the whistle, King arched a brow slipping from Terry's room to the hall. Shrugging she excused herself and headed down the back stairwell to the floor below. Upon seeing the 'stranger' a smile crept across her lips as she slide behind the bar. "Didn't think you'd be in town so soon, what can I get for ya?"

Upon hearing her words, the male, who’s name was K, turned his head to see who it was. King. Her appearance was quite strange; male fashions on women never looked good on him, and as for what she wore, well he didn’t have room to argue. He wore a black leather jacket, unzipped most of the way save for the expanse of three inches near the bottom that decently showed the defined lines of healthy figure.

Lurching forward to cross his arms over one another on the bar top, his necklace dangling in mid air, he lowered his glasses so he could take in the entirety of her curves, “I must say you have been taking great care of yourself,” he said in a scratchy yet astonished tone. Though the astonishment came from the simple fact that regardless of her garb, he was attracted to her.

Lifting a hand, he took the butt of his cigarette and twisted it into a nearly ashtray before standing up and pacing further down the bar so he was that much closer, “I decided to take my vacation a bit early, and judging by the looks of it...” he look a long look around the room before a grin came to his lips, eyes peering into her own set, “You’ve been living it up.”

King smiled, moving behind the bar to pick out a bottle of white wine. Pouring the liquid in a wine glass she took a quick sip letting the liquid play along her tongue. "Keeping in shape is half the battle. But when you have a bar to tend to and a bunch of rowdy men... keeping in shape is a necessity." Taking another sip of her drink she set the bottle on the counter top and with one hand hopped over the bar clean landing gracefully on the other side, all without spilling a drop of wine from her glass.

King found her place in a lone chair kicking up her feet as she lounged lazily. "If this is living it up then I suppose I have done well for myself. Thanks." she noddd lifting her glass before taking another sip. "So are you passing through or can I surmise that you heard of the tournament by now and plan to sign up? If... you already haven't?"

“No,” he said curtly, something about the way he said it was grim though, yet he stayed silent and instead prompted to search the tactile pleasures of the bar. Finding his spot near a wall, he placed his fingers against the glass of a picture, it was a picture of the founding management, and it seemed he was pointing out who he knew, which was simply one.

Turning his head, he stared at her hard for a moment before turning back to the picture. “You look different in this picture,” he would finally say, breaking the silence. One hand behind him, he nimbly dodged the stationary seating arrangements she had placed and found himself coming towards her.

In a daring motion, he let one hand grip the side of the bar while the other curled his fingers under her chin, raising her head up so her eyes stared into the dimmed pools of his own, “You asked me why I was here before; the answer is to deliver a message from an opponent, a challenge if you will.” Letting his body lean closer so that the lower half of his body nearly was completely pressed to hers, lips brushing softly against her earlobe, “He says ‘Your title is mine and so is your life.’” Then he finished, purring loudly before breaking the intimate distance with her and stepping back and turning from her.

Turning his head to face her, he offered a smile and removed his sunglasses in a quick motion, allowing for her to see his eyes completely for the first time, “Sure I will join though, kicking ass was always my hobby, right?”

King arched a brow upon his close proximity. She never did like it when men got close to her or too familiar, almost like trying to claim territory that didn't belong to them. She listened intently to his words, her eyes unable to help looking at his lips but they shot up to his eyes again barely visible over his glasses. Being so close like that elicted the female response she had tried to surpress as the shiver rippled through her from top to bottom. Biting upon her bottom lip she squinted her eyes restraining herself from a sly retort...no not yet.

After his message was delivered and recieved he pulled away, and not a moment too soon either. She had been about ready to deck him for assuming he could be so familiar with her. She stood immediately after he left downing the last of her drink and crushing the glass in her hand. Shards dug into her skin but she did not notice them as she clamped her fist tightly. "Then tell this person they flirt with disaster if they think I will fall so easily."

Opening her hand she looked at it noting the blood and shards of glass stuck in her palm. She hurriedly went to the bar using the white wine to rinse her hand. Upon K's next response she allowed one side of her mouth to curl up as she finally retorted, "No...being an ass was more of your hobby." And with that she returned her attentions to her hand as she cleaned it up, removed the shards of glass, and bandaged it.

Chuckling lightly then, he let one hand run through the short tresses of his hair, jerking his frame to correct his discombobulated frame to an extent where he faced her once more. Audibly he reiterated her words slowly, “Being-an-ass-was-more-of-my-hobby, huh?” He punctuated with sarcasm, ending with a slight angle to his head. At this point he was back at the bar, arms crossed once more over it while he gave a soft smile, fingers brushing over the polished top to wrap them around one of the larger shards on it.

Lifting his head up to meet her face once more, he whispered under his breath, the same scratchy tone that he had taken up when he first spoke, “But you love it.” The expression on his lips was no longer jovial or even a feigned happiness but a delighted yet mischievous grin, “Don’t you?” He inquired, the purr that he had taken up before dominating his vocals that spilled from his lips once more.

Terry had been about to answer when King went downstairs. He shook his head, then followed her, making sure the door was unlocked. He walked down the stairs, and grinned at the guy's forward nature as he delivered a message to her. He leaned against the wall, and raised an eyebrow. Then he cleared his throat. "AHEM...moving right along."
