LeBron is one-and-done for the first time in his NBA playoff career, and as one might imagine from a man who flops shamelessly, he didn’t take it well.

Instead of shaking hands with the victorious Suns who eliminated James and the Lakers without too much difficulty, the “Chosen One” left the floor and headed to the locker room.

A big and hearty “Thank you” can be extended from the rest of America to the Suns’ fans who appropriately chastised “The King” on his way off the floor. Of course, no one should be attending these games at all due to the NBA’s cozy relationship with a freedom-crushing, human rights oppressing, slave-labor using dictatorship in China.

However, having a large number of fans handy to ridicule the biggest baby in the history of the NBA has its perks

This is political how?

The thread starter's primary purpose for making a disparaging thread about James is due to James being a powerfully-influential African-American, and the thread starter is too stupid to realise he's outed himself by posting it here. ;)

This is political how?

Because the thread's author is a racist and is trying to make a none too subtle racist point.

Of course the author will deny that starting a non political thread on the politics board about a black icon is racist, but Captain Obvious is obviously racist.

*nods*

Can someone please move this to the more appropriate fetish category?

Project 21, a project of the National Center for Public Policy Research that focuses on black leadership, is calling LeBron James a hypocrite for claiming America is a racist country while wearing the logo of an online retailer that sells Confederate merchandise.

Wish is an online platform that connects consumers with third-party sellers and offers “a wide array of Confederate-themed items including Confederate flag pillows, blankets, kids’ military uniforms, portraits of Confederate generals and even anti-COVID face masks featuring the rebel flag,” according to Project 21.

“Let’s face it, LeBron is a publicity hog. We all can figure LeBron hasn’t done any due diligence into the practices of Wish and probably never will,” Project 21 member Donna Jackson said. “LeBron likes to position himself as a social justice warrior, but his primary wishes are really to stay in the news cycle and to generate profits – for him and his sponsors. Since his activism has almost single-handedly tanked NBA ratings over the past two years, I’m sure this wish won’t become a reality."

Deplorable Neanderthals have a problem with him because he doesn't quietly shuck and jive like a good niggrum, as they want all black athletes to behave, does he?

But let it be a Great White Hope like Tom Shady and OP would spin it as something benign.

Deplorables hate vocal black people.

Throughout the communist Chinese tyrants’ crack-down on free speech and the oppression of the hopes for a democratic society displayed by regular, everyday Hong Kong citizens, one of China’s leading business partners, LeBron James, has remained utterly silent. Nowhere has James spoken out about the freedom of speech being quashed in Hong Kong. Not once has he decried the secret murders, late-night raids, beatings, and imprisonment of Hong Kong’s democratic protesters. Indeed, James isn’t even interested in representing his own country at the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo. He’d rather spend his summer pushing his new cartoon movie.

Sadly, LeBron, “man of the people,” James has already spoken in favor of Chinese oppression. Back in 2019, when Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey posted a tweet supporting the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong, James attacked the open support of democracy.

But it appears to be all about the Benjamins for James. During the dust-up between the communists and the NBA, LeBron reportedly temporarily*lost*a $1 million endorsement deal in red China.

Still, LeBron is doing fine with his Chinese deals. Reportedly, he will make upwards of $1 billion or more from his Nike contract and tens of millions of that money, directly or indirectly connected to China.
