Possibly Russian Zil cars.

The first Zil large car was made from old Packard dies, sold to the USSR.

I heard/read that Roosevelt made Packard give the dies of the senior model to Stalin, who was a big fan. Then Packard was faced with a re-design after WW2 was over, unlike any other US auto manufacturer. Compare Joe's Lime to a '42 Packard - they're virtually identical:
