Just got back from a lovely evening of drinking wine at the neighbors fire pit. I'm admittedly tipsy and have a question or two to ponder. You know, those deep philosophical questions that only come with the hazy cloud of alcohol? Lol. So here goes... Have you ever craved conversation from someone so bad their acknowledgement takes over your thoughts? Have you ever specifically sought out the attention or conversation of others in an effort to shut your brain off and NOT think of said person for 5 f'n minutes because you just want to let go and be done? But, you know deep down, no matter what, you will never be done because said person spoke to your soul?
Better yet, have you ever lived your entire life hating liars and everything they represent, only to find yourself lying to the one person who showed you kindness and compassion just because you let them in faster than all your walls could process and by the time you realized how bad you f'd up, you knew it was too late?

And finally...don't you hate it when chicks get tipsy and fall into a self-pity party and can't get up?

Hmmmmm....

That must have been some GOOD wine, or at least plenty of it. One tip: write down all your introspective revelations tonight, or you'll have to do the whole wine thing again. Hope you learn something beneficial.

I have no way to answer all of these questions in one shot, mostly b/c I'm exhausted and need to go to bed myself, but.. Yes, I always marvel a bit at how we all let certain people take up residence in our heads. And how we can't get them out unless enough time and space intervenes, and then they return. So, yes, I think some of us get it.

OMG yes! And then you have years to get over them and poof, they are back. And you have to start all the way at square one because then, one day, they are gone again.

The bestest, cheapest Moscato Walgreens had to offer! I was drinking on a budget and went a few steps up from the cheapie boxed crap. Lol
