Sorry i couldnt find the thread but i was wondering Muff if the cake is a poundcake or a spongecake!! My father is a diabetic so im gonna try to make a low sugar version and need to know which cake recipie i am manipulating!!

My Father is diabetic and I have this wonderful recipie for all fruit muffins. He loves them and they freeze real easy too.

Low sugar version? There is such a thing?

It's just like banana bread sweetness, you could probably just use that, or some derivation of it. It's not sponge or pound cake, more like regular cake I believe. Hard to tell, the main thing is the leavening and not beating the crap out of the flour.

I oughta tell you about my Oreo Cookie Cake, but that's just straight sugar. Talking about it makes my ass grow.

hmmm? Well i have a recipie for a yellow cake that calls for two tablespoons of hunny to sweeten it ill try that recipie!!
