If you really need to kill the ID, ask Laurel to make AS an 'unregistered.' Hopefully the posts will be left intact, as you've contributed a lot of useful stuff to this board.

Otherwise, just clear your temp files, cookies and walk away (and maybe reincarnate yourself later).

Self-Destructing

I just added the part about 'Don't Drink And Drive' to fuel speculation and add to the drama. I don't do that (and drive, anyway).

In 14 years of marriage the wife and I never fought... until Saturday. She was convinced I was carrying on some "virtual" affair but I was just editing and/or writing erotica. Apparently I may as well have been 'fucking' somebody, it may have been more easily excused.

I agreed to cancel my net connection so I won't be on-line any longer. I have contacted those I've been editing and informed them of my inabilty to continue in that vein. Many, many apologies to them.

If anyone thinks I actually have left behind something of value, let it be. I nixed the Comment and Vote options on my 70+ posts. Not sure what that does, but it was the act of doing so that was fulfilling, especially since my most highly regarded stories were raped by trolls.

Thanks so much to those who have been friendly to me.
