Name: Luna
age: 20
hight : 5ft 4in
wght: 120lbs
class. Ranger
Phyisical Discription. Long red hair braided down to mid back, hourglass figure well toned from hunting and tracking, ice blue almost white colored eyes.

....................

Luna's father had been one of the hunt's men of the village near the kingdom of Kilgram, he had wanted a son, and was slightly dissapointed when his wife died after giving birth to a girl, but soon took joy in teaching her how to hunt at his side.

They were out hunting when the village, and caslte were attacked. Hearing the screams from the village they had made their way back to see what they could do. Only to discover that it was too late, when they were attacked as well. The emblem on the soldjers armor was that of a dragon.

Luna's last vision before being left for dead was watching her father being cut down. Her head pounded from where she hit the tree as her father knocked her to the ground, taking the blow ment for her.

Thinking her only a younger male insted of a female for the way she was clothed. The knight had tryed to run her thru, and killed her father insted. When she didnt move the knight left her for dead to chace down one of the young village girls.

Slowly sitting up she raised her hand to the back of her head. Her hair was matted with dryed blood from a minor cut on the back of her head, but other than a small bit of nasua, and a splitting head ach she seemed fine. Her long red hair was thankfully still held back by its braid, a few tendrals falling in her face, but the cap she had been wearing was lost.

Looking around she reolized that her bow and arrows were still near by, but she didnt see what good they would do her at the moment. If they found her they would ether kill her or take her captive.

Slowly getting to her feet taking her bow with her she stuck to the trees and worked her way around to see what she could discover. Trying not to let her greif over her father and what was left of the village distract her.

After making her way around to where she could see what was going on she watched horrified as the princess was being tied out in the open naked for all to see. She couldnt hear what was being said but she new she had to do something, but what could one girl do against an army... They would only track her and kill her.

Luna watched as the knight begain touching the princess's naked body. How long had she been knocked out?... Narrowing her Ice blue eyes her anger giving her the courage she needed she couldnt just stand there and watch, better to die now fighting and be done with it. She thought as raised her bow, and took aim on the knight.

Taking her time she took careful aim so as not to hit the princess, and released the arrow, watching only long enough to see it hit its mark going threw the man's hand, before ducking back and making a run for it thru the trees. Praying her death would be a quick one.

Luna heard the man yell as she ran thru the trees.. she had a good head start but with so many of them comming for her she new she would have to find a place to hide.

Stopping to look where she was going and catching her breath she dedicded to climb a tree near by the branches were thick enough to hide her. Even if they looked up, she would be hidden as long as she didnt move, or her breathing give her away.

Hearing them closing in on her direction she quickly climbed and did her best to slow her breathing, trying not to scare off too many birds in the process. When she felt her ankel being grabbed and was yanked to the ground. Damn.. Not fast enough she thought....

Landing hard her ankel still in the man's hand she quickly brought her other leg up and kicked him in the chest knocking him back. She got up to run only to be surrounded by his companions.. One of them took in her apperance and gave her a learing grin. Look here lads looks like it be a woman were ta be takin back ta the captin...

Beginning, part 1

"The village is taken, my lord."

Malech turned slowly to regard the man in green scaled armor. It bore the livery of the Beast, his Master, and the markings on the man's shoulders and arms indicated he was a captain who had been in the Army of the Claw for many years, many different campaigns. "Good. Survivors?"

"Quite a number taken within the village, and some stragglers have been sighted headed for the outlying farms or into the surrounding forest."

"Have you taken the Hunter, yet?" Malech sat his hand upon the hilt of his sword and idly ran his thumb about the handguard. His Master had had clear orders on that point.

Calorn shook his head. He kept his eyes fixed upon the dark knight, however, having heard stories of what happened to those bearing bad news to his Lordship. "I have scouts tracking him. From what we were told in the village, he had gone out hunting with one or more of his apprentices."

"Call me when he is found."
-----------
A short time later, the Claw had closed about the Hunter. He had rushed back towards the village when the scent of burning buildings and crops had made its way through the forest and signaled that there was a problem. En route, his party had met with a group of refugees and learned of attack upon the village and the slaughter of so many innocents.

"Keep a sharp eye out," he told the villagers with him, although he was directing his instructions to his daughter, Luna, more than any of them. They could help in some ways, but things would be easier if it was just him and her dealing with the Claw. If they could just make it to the river, they could take a barge or something downstream--away from Kilgram, the Claw, and its Master.

"You could do the same," said a dark voice from ahead and to the right. A knight stepped into sight. Gilbert stopped moving and readied his weapon.

"Malech"

"Hunter."

"Why have you done this?"

"Please. You come to this village and live among them in the very shadow of my Master and need to ask why? You may as well slaughtered them yourself."

Gilbert bit his lip. He feared Malech might be right. He turned and motioned to the villagers. "Flee! I will hold them. We will keep them off you as long as we can."

Luna moved to help her father, bringing her bow to bear on the dark knight. Suddenly, the man called Malech was on the move, his sword becoming a spear as he closed the distance to her, and she was flying back into a tree as her father was just as suddenly in her place.

"Giving yourself for an apprentice? How...typical...Hunter."

OOC
Malech is upper 20s-early 30s in appearance, but is much older than that in reality. He has buzzed blonde hair and steely blue eyes--which have not been seen yet, as he is still helmeted.

Name: Jasmine
Age: 18
Descript: Long black hair, slim but with appreciative womenly curves, striking green eyes

``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Jasmine was just on the outskirts of the village, gathering herbs for the Healer. It had been a cool clear morning, but promised to get hotter in the day. Jasmine had thought it was the perfect time of day.
She was wearing a simple dress, nothing extravagant. Dangling from her neck was a clear green gem, matching her eyes. The Healer had taken her in when she was just a babe, but had never told her who her true father was. Only that the bauble hanging from her neck was from him. But it didnt matter. She loved the old Healer like family.
Suddenly the quiet morning was broken by sounds of arrows hissing through the air, screaming, and horses galloping by. She looked up, horrified as she watched the battle going on below. She wanted to turn and run, hide in the woods at her back, but she couldnt just leave the Healer. He was old and frail and couldnt get away on his own.
She scrambled through the outlying buildings of the village, horses and women and children running past her. Men fell around her and she tried to fight the terror building inside her. She barely noticed the dragon emblem on the enemy.
She couldnt make it back to the hut she shared with the healer. There were too many soldiers around, and she knew she wouldnt stand a chance.
She took refuge in the abandoned potters hut, and shut her eyes, trying to drown out the sights she had just seen, the noise of battle around her.
Beginnings, part 2
Malech turned and surveyed the game trail and forest glade that he and his men had ambushed Gilbert the Hunter in. Although he had not yet given the word to pursue, he noticed that a few Talons had dropped villagers that had come too close to them. The knight smiled at the overly enthusiasm of his troops. He would probably have words with them later, but they had kept to the letter of their orders and had not moved from their positions.
"Take them!" Malech shouted. "Take them all, bring me women and anyone who might be useful." He started to head back to his encampment. Calorn gestured behind Malech. Without even turning to look, he paused just long enough to tell his new aide, "Bring him along. The Master will want to see his body. Leave the other dead where they fall."
----------
Hours later, Calorn brought his Lord news of a special treat. One of the village girls rounded up had turned out to be a minor noble from one of the smaller kingdoms. "She was here to be fitted by the local dressmaker for wedding garments," Calorn said.
"Indeed," said Malech. He smiled, and Calorn was tempted to step back from the sight of it and the way it misshaped the knight's chin beneath the black helm and draconic facemask he wore. Malech proceeded to give his aide details on how to prepare her Highness, and Calorn nodded his understanding--hoping his face had not paled at his orders.
Malech emerged from his pavilion after a while, and marched slowly out to where the young princess was strapped to the ground. Her garments had been removed, and she was tied by stout leather cords to tent pegs driven into the earth in such a way as to leave her chest heaving beneath his gaze and her legs parted to allow easy access to her maidenhead.
He stared openly at her, and she met his gaze with pleading eyes as tears ran down her cheeks and joined the drool escaping her gagged mouth and slowly dripping off her chin. "Good evening, your Highness. I trust you are familiar with 'First Night'?"
Kneeling, Malech brushed the back of his hand against one of the girl's breasts. She tried to flinch from the touch, but the nipple hardened anyways. Interesting He removed the gauntlet and touched her thigh with his bare hand. "And how ready are we, your Highness? Are you prepared to be a woman tonight?" He trailed his fingers through the folds of her sex and felt the dampness present there.
"I see," Malech said.
He stood up and made sure to stand where the princess could see him. He sniffed at his fingers and then tasted her off their tips. "Very nice, I think this will be a pleasant diversion."
"For one of us, anyway."
Malech laughed lightly and went to touch her once more then jerked back his hand and spun about to face the treeline. And arrow was point down in the dirt at his feet, and blood from the hole it had left in his hand sprayed into the air about the knight.
"Assassin! Calorn! I want whomever that is brought to ground!"
Calorn was already in motion, leading a group of Talons off into the forest. Malech muttered and swore under his breath as he began binding his hand. He pointed to another soldier. "You, there is a Healer in the village. Find him or one of his students and bring them here."
The soldier nodded. "Here, sir? Not at your tent."
Malech began removing his armor. "Oh no, here, by all means. I will be busy until you return." He looked to the princess and the small pin drops of blood that bespattered her skin. "Very busy indeed."
Beginnings, part 3
"Look here lads looks like it be a woman were ta be takin back ta the captin..."
Calorn perked up. He headed quickly over towards the man who had commented and found a Fist surrounding a young girl dressed in boyish fashion. She had a bow and arrows and his eyes narrowed at the markings upon her clothes. The Hunter's apprentice...I thought him...well, her...dead. Damn.
"Hello girl," he said in a low voice, the menace barely contained as he continued. "Are you in such a hurry to join your Master in the after?" He stepped closer and held out his hand.
"Give me the bow, drop your quiver, and raise your hands so my men can search you for knives," Calorn told Luna. "We are going to see my Lord. Will you come or must we beat you senseless?"
"Or worse."
The Lone Mercenary.
"Soldiers attack!" Was the order shouted as the sun reached it's highest peak in the clear blue sky.
With the order issued the battle cries of the Claw army quickly flooded and swept over the peaceful village, followed closely by the sudden and many screams of fallen loved one,parent or child.
Kain, age thirty-two. took a quick moment to view the small village that had now erupted into a battle field and with emotionless sapphire colored eyes he couldn't help but to frown silently in disgust.
This couldn't even be considered a battle field becoming nothing more then a mindless massacre of the villagers.
Given the size of the Claw army vs that of the defenders they didn't need this many troops.
The general of the Claw army certainly didn't mind showing off the brutality of his forces.
"Hey mercenary dog!" Called one of the captains angrily as he noticed Kain standing there.
"Get your ass down their and get into the fight. We're not paying you to just sit around and watch you lout!"
Kain looked to the captain, whom was outfitted in the attire meant for Claw soldiers, with the dragon emblem embedded within his chest plate to show his superiority.
Kain himself was dressed in mostly simple black clothing, hardly something a solider would normally be seen wearing with only a simple chain shirt covering his chest with only one chain sleeve going down his right arm and hand. On his left arm a red bandanna could be seen tied tightly around his arm which was his only way of not being mistaken for an enemy of the Claw.
After a moment of silents that had the captain wondering if Kain was even listening to him he then turned away from the captain and started making his way into the town drawing his long black bladed sword as he readied himself in joying the slaughter.
He was a mercenary after all..and it was what he was paid to do..
~~~~~~

The village was in flames as Kain entered the heat of battle, he had already killed a few of the defenders, some of which had rushed him or was proving difficult to his allies. Any villagers that ran by him was ignored as they posed no threat to him and his contract made no mention of villagers or taking prisoners, only the armed men were to be dealt with.

With little hesitation or even slowing down, Kain cut his way through the village to the very edge of town leaving a deadly trail of bodies to add to the slaughter that was happening everywhere else.

A defender suddenly burst through some bushes in an attempt to catch him off guard but the movement was too slow and the man was obviously a novice in fighting. Bringing his sword to his side he swatted the mans sword away and then quickly turned to kick him in the chest with his steel toed boot.

The impact sent the man flying back, smashing into a nearby building and knocking down the door of what looked to be an abandoned pottery house.

The man coughed violently some blood even coming up.

"Damn you! Why! Why would you do this to us!"
The man asked through clenched teeth, full of hatred and venom.

Kain walked slowly up to the man his cold careless eyes meeting the mans own as he raised his sword up over the mans chest.

"Don't blame me, for the misfortune of your village... Blame yourself for being weak or your kingdom for failing to defend it's people...or."
Kain paused for a moment as his eyes narrowed. "Blame your god."

Blood splattered against the walls of the abandoned pottery house, as Kain drove his sword through the mans chest ending his life.

As the man fell limp Kain withdrew his sword and sighed. Another sin..and more blood upon his already reddened hands he thought, but despite having killed the man Kain hoped he would find peace in the afterlife, away from this terrible world the rest of them were forced to still exist in.

Turning on the heels of his boots he was just about to leave when something caught his ear and had him glance back into the room. It was dark but at the far end he could make out the figure of someone, a women with long black hair ,whom was obviously in hiding from the invading army.

Jasmine had almost talked herself into peeking out to see if she could make the rest of the journey to her hut when she heard the commotion outside. In the next instant a man came crashing through.

It took all her willpower not to move or make a sound.

She could tell the man was dying as he spat at the enemy. She didnt have her Healers kit with her to tend to him anyhow. But she whispered the Healers prayer for him and hoped it would help.

She would wait. For a moment it looked like he would spot her, and only the Gods knew what would happen to her then. She clutched her small knife she used to cut the herbs she gathered. It was dull, but it was all she had.

She shifted her body slightly. Her legs were cramping and she wanted to be in the right position in case she needed to run. But her movement...no matter how slight it was...caused her to bump against a giant earthen jar making a noise she was sure he could hear.

His deadly steel cold eyes fell upon the women within the room. She was young, much like the many others within this village whom had already lost their lives in the battle.

Knowing full well what the men of the claw army did with their female prisoners he already had a good idea of what fate had in store for this women.

A glimmer of light caught his eye then and his eyes fell upon the blade she held, which was a simple cutting knife used for guarding and he knew it wouldn't do much to a well armored solider.

"Whatever you do... don't loose that blade." He said simply in a cold tone of voice void of emotion. Not waiting or expecting a response from her he turned himself around and moved outside of the house. Once outside spun himself around and slashed across a wooden beam that supported part of the outside roof.
The roof came crashing down around the entry way of the house, blocking it off and hopefully deterring anyone from bothering to investigate the building later. The girl could easily dig herself out later and with luck perhaps manage to get away.

Letting the thoughts of the girl slip from his mind, Kain continued onwards heading back through the town.

"Whatever you do... don't loose that blade."

His words made her feel sheepish. She knew her blade wouldnt do much, but it was the only comfort she had at the moment. His cold eyes and words chilled her, but he was different. She expected him to come in after her, but what he did next completly suprised her.

He simply turned and walked out. She quickly got up, but in the next moment the hut was suddenly crashing around her and she had to duck to avoid a timber. The air was thick with dust and was dark. But she had nothing more than a couple minor bruises.

Jasmine let out a flurry of curses directed at the soldier, not even knowing if he was still out there. As soon as the dust cleared she would dig herself out.

(~~~~Time passes. Now at present time for Kain~~~~)

The fighting had finally ended, but the cries of the few survivors continued to cry as the blazing sun turned the sky crimson to match the colors of burned village.

All that was left were a few buildings and the prisoners of war which consisted of mainly women for the Claws men and their needs and even the princess of this land wasn't spared from the cruelty of the men in this army.

Kain remained stagnantly quiet ignoring everyone else around him as he sat upon some debri and drank water from a bowl.
The water tasted horrible, but it always did after a battle.

The sound of an arrow whistling through the air snapped Kain from his thoughts followed by a yell as one of the higher ranked soldiers had an arrow pierce his hand.

"Assassin! Calorn! I want whomever that is brought to ground!"

Kain watched as the man known as Calorn took off in the direction the arrow had come from while along with a few of the other soliders.

Part of him wanted to follow as it was obvious their were still a few more enemies about with enough gull or perhapses stupidity to attack a large group of soldiers and not even kill one of them. This idea seemed all the more better as the man whom was also one of his employers started to undress himself for the bound princess.

Sighing in disgust that was kept to himself Kain pulled himself up off of the fallen debri and calmly walked after this so called assassin, whom had failed to even hit his mark.

A little while later Jasmine had managed to free herself from the fallen hut. The battle was over it seemed. The dead and dying laid everywhere but there didnt seem to be any more skirmishes. Several enemy soldiers were patrolling the village, probably rounding up any survivors.

She decided she would take the chance and try to make it to her home. She couldnt help but feel a lump in her throat for the old Healer. By the looks of things his chances for survival seemed slim.

Trying to stay in the shadows, Jasmine carefully made her way from hut to hut untill she found herself in her old home. She fought back tears as she saw how her home had been ransacked. But no sign of her mentor.

Deciding he must have escaped she quickly made up her mind that she would try to make it to the next village, easily a couple days travel away. Digging through the debris she found the Healer's kit, as well as some meager food.

So busy was she in her digging she didnt hear the crunch of a boot or the metalic sound of a sword being lifted from a sheath.

"What a fine little lass we have here..."

She spun around to see several soldiers blocking the door. Instinctively she pulled her dull blade. These men were not like the soldier she had met before. She knew the stories of the Claw. She would not go willingly!

The soldiers just laughted at her little show of defiance. They advanced on her as if she was a sheep and they wolves. She knew she couldnt back up much farther. But yet they still came closer, their leering eyes and knowing grins....she couldnt bare it.

When one soldier made a lunge for her, she swung her knife violently, catching the soldier on the chin. But her strike was not that of someone trained in combat, and the soldier easily grabbed her arm and twisted it back, pulling her slim body against his. She tried to struggle, but he was much stronger than she.

"Well looks like this lass has claws...."

He wrenched the dull knife from Jasmine and traced her throat with it. He muttered something about the penalty of attacking a soldier, with other lewd comments, but she wasnt really listening. Her head was spinning, and she was desperate to get away. Suddenly she had an idea.

"I'm...I'm a Healer!"

She didnt expect her words to have much meaning to these barbarians, but somehow it did. The men stopped their leering looks and argued amongst themselves. Then suddenly her hands her bound and she was being shoved towards the door and through the village.

Too soon it became clear where they were taking her. She saw the beautiful princess bound on the ground, and at the mercy of the enemy. Was it not yesterday she was full of life and ready for her wedding? A man, she took to be the leader, was preparing himself for the princess. It seemed a commotion had just happened before, as several soldiers were running for the treeline, including the soldier she had seen before.

"My Lord we found a Healer."

She was roughly shoved down to the ground. Her heart pounded in her chest. Only the Gods would know what would happen next.

Malech

The protestations that had begun when the dark knight first began toying with the bound and gagged princess belied the way the young royal thrust her hips at Malech's fingers as they explored and opened her up. He rubbed his thumb against her clit as he played with her, and listened to the groans of denial slowly became pleas to not stop.

He stretched himself out across her pale, naked form. He had removed his helmet along with the rest of his armor, and bore down upon her with eyes that never wavered in their intensity. Between them, his erection rubbed its tip against her opening. He teased her for what seemed like several minutes then thrust forward and broke her.

The princess jerked against her bonds, saliva flowed from beneath the gag and tears reappeared within her eyes to trace their way along familiar pathways on her cheeks. She tried to roll her head away from Malech as he kissed her face and neck, tried to arch her back and draw her groin from his--but the ground was unyielding, and she was pinned over and over by the hard shaft filling her then retracting then filling her once more.

Malech said nothing.

He grunted now and then, but his taunts and disparaging comments fell aside as he found his attention taken by the way this princess felt wrapped around him. She, in turn, as with the touch of his hand and fingers, began to respond to the touch of his body upon and within hers until she felt her breath become an echo of Malech's and the motion of her body began cooperating with his instead of opposing it.

Then some of the soldiers approached.

They had a young girl with them. Malech got off the princess and stood up. One of the men declared, "My Lord we found a Healer." They then shoved the girl forward and let her fall at the knight's feet.

Malech stood before the girl, naked, with his wet hardon bobbing between them at halfmast--still slick with the princess' fluids and blood. "A Healer? Is that so, girl? Tend to my hand while the princess is prepared."

He nodded to some of the Talons who had bound her Highness in the first place. "Find a mat and a pillow or rolled up blanket." The knight's tongue brushed his lips to moisten them briefly.

"And turn her over."

"Look here lads looks like it be a woman were ta be takin back ta the captin..."

Calorn perked up. He headed quickly over towards the man who had commented and found a Fist surrounding a young girl dressed in boyish fashion. She had a bow and arrows and his eyes narrowed at the markings upon her clothes. The Hunter's apprentice...I thought him...well, her...dead. Damn.

"Hello girl," he said in a low voice, the menace barely contained as he continued. "Are you in such a hurry to join your Master in the after?" He stepped closer and held out his hand.

"Give me the bow, drop your quiver, and raise your hands so my men can search you for knives," Calorn told Luna. "We are going to see my Lord. Will you come or must we beat you senseless?"

"Or worse."

Luna looked at the men surrounding her listining as the one who seemed to be the leader of this contengent of men offered her the choice of how she would be captured, easy or hard, Arragant bastered she thought.. she didnt particularly like the idea of being beaten or worse, but nor would she do her fathers memory any justice if she simply gave in ither.

Luna debted her options her bow still in hand but lowered at her side, she continued to watch the men to her sides waiting for an attack, if she were quick enough she could loose the bow string and attack using the string like a whip, and the bow itself like a staff, the wood was solid enough.

She had practiced this tecnuique with her father and that only one on one, and wasnt sure if she could handle fighting more than one man, For a moment it was tempting to take his offered hand, but she had to try, and chose the hard way.

To the men surrounding her she looked as tho she were about to drop her bow and surrender, catching them only slightly off guard as none had expected her to actually fight her way out.

She brought the bow up quickly loosing the string striking one man across the face and eye, missing the one who held out his hand by inches. She left a bloody mark across the man's face she did hit. The others now in motion from her action. She struck the first to reach her in the chest knocking the wind from him, and causing him to fall back, Allowing her to spin and smash the third in the nose breaking it with her bow.

Seeing the opening she needed to flee the fray she begain to run having made the MISTAKE of forgetting the fourth man the one who had given her, the choice of how she would be captured and was soon tackled to the ground.

She fought as hard as she was able but was no match for his size and strength, she gave vent to an angry frustrated growl as he pinned her and Called to one of his men to bring Rope to bind her hands with, searching her for other wepons in the process, finding only one other dagger she carried in her boot. She hadnt been prepaired for war only hunting when the village was attacked.

The one who brought the rope was the one who had been winded by her blow to the chest and tied her hands tightly as the other held her. Luna had yet to speak and and decided keeping her mouth shut was her best option until she found out what they inteded to do with her and villagers and why they had attacked there peaceful village in the first place.

Luna was held up between the man who appeared to be incharge and the man who had helped bind her hands when the other two she had injured joined them. The one who's face she had slashed with her bow string, picked up her bow from where she had lost it when she was tackled, and said I hope our captin use's a whip on yer hide gel, in payment fer my eye, especally should i loose the use of it.

She said nothing only glared even when he tryed to break her bow over his knee, she simply raised her chin a notch and refused to speak, giving a small smile of satisfaction at her handy work, and that her bow wasnt easly broken ether.

Yea well she better pray that there's a healer in the village who can mend the captin's hand and that his temper cool's a bit before he gets his hands on her. I still have a bit of trouble beleving a woman could weald a bow, and had she not smashed my face with one i'd still not beleve it.. The man with the broken nose mumbled around a peace of tworn sleeve that he held to his nose, which was still bleeding.

Lets take her to that captin and let him decide what her fait will be..I want some kind of retrebution for my eye..What say ye Calorn? the other said again turning to one of the men who held her and had pinned her to the ground. So Calorn was his name... She stored that in the back of her mind for later use if need be, the more information and names she was able to get the better..

Another walked out of the trees to join them this one dressed in black with a red bandanna tied to his arm, and as the men did not attack him she knew he was if not one of there ranks had most likely been hired by them to help take the village.

Kain had arrived on the scene just as they had surrounded the supposed assassin and while the person did posses a ranged weapon that could of caused the the injury to the commanders, Kain remained skeptical and continued to glance around to see if the real assassin was just hiding else where while this unfortunate girl took the blame.

Closing the distance to the group of soldiers and the girl, he then focused his cold sapphire eyes upon the female in question, and quickly gauged the way she held herself in her stance.

She may have looked feeble and delicate but the way he saw her hold onto that bow and size up each of her opponents made Kain call her on this bluff.

Kain couldn't help but to smirk as she lashed out at the first guard, catching most of the other guards off and buying her enough time to use her agility to her full advantage.

It looked for a moment like she would make it pass them all and even Kain a chance at her himself but just as she broke through the lines the female seemed to have forgotten about Calorn who managed to snag her in a tackle and pin her to the ground.

Kain gave a light sigh on her misfortune but remained quiet as the men bound her arms together and were trying to decide what to do with her.

"I'd probably kill her now if I were you." Kain said speaking up finally as he moved closer. His cold sapphire eyes looked first to Calorn whom was obviously the higher ranked solider here, followed by the others and finally the bound girl.

"There is much hatred in her eyes...and she is an assassin after all, which will bring nothing but trouble to you. Why take the risk of taking her to the commander when you can take her else where and be done with it."
He then looked to the man whom was injured.

"I think a life for your eye is redemption enough." Kain had seen plenty of deaths bred from the hatred of others and it was usally better to simply cut it off from it's roots before it grew.
However a small part of him wanted to see if the girl could escape and with this he was giving her the chance, by offering to kill her.

Jasmine tried not to look as the knight defiled the princess. It was shameful! She didnt know the princess personally, but couldnt help but feel sorry for the bound and whimpering girl.

She picked herself up off the ground, her face red with embarrassment for the princess, seeing the knights member, and anger. Did he think her some foolish girl who would run in fear of seeing his maleness?

A soldier cut her binds and she was suprised to see that one of the soldiers that had taken her had thought to grab the Healers kit. Taking a powdered mix from it, she added a little water offered by another soldier to make a paste. The knights hand was filthy with dirty from battle and his blood. She used the rest of the water to rinse the wound, and then applied the paste to it. Finally, she wrapped a clean cloth from her bag around his hand.

She took small satisfaction in how deep the wound was, and how it must burn with the paste on it. She raised her eyes to his, and to add further to her small defiance, she made sure she tied the knot tight.

"Change it twice a day, wash with water or wine."

She looked towards the princess as the Talons rearranged her as ordered. How she wanted to help the poor girl! Dare she speak out? Would it do any good?

But she bit her bottom lip and remained silent. She knew she didnt have the strength to fight off the soldiers, and it was smarter to bide her time and wait.

Malech

The girl who had been brought before him barely seemed old enough to have left her family or fostering and entered into an ordinary apprenticeship, let alone something like Healing that required a bit more maturity from its students.

At least, at first glance, she had.

When Malech saw how right to business she was--how she ignored his nakedness or what he had been doing before she arrived--he was impressed. When she applied the poultice to his hand, he quietly bit his lips and sucked in a bit more of a breath than he might have otherwise. He watched the wound bubble and foam as the girl wrapped it, and met her eyes as she tied it off.

Not just an unopinionated Healer, then. He tilted his head down to look more deeply at her. Gingerly, Malech flexed the bound hand, his eyes narrowing as he got himself used to how quickly after employing the hand did the pain make its way to his brain.

"Change it twice a day, wash with water or wine," she told him.

"Very well. You will see to it," he replied. Malech turned and gestured to the braided soldier who was filling in for Calorn. "Set up a tent near my pavilion for our Healer. Let all be aware that to touch her is forbidden, she is not mere villager flesh."

"I am Malech. I command here at the bequest of my Master." He noticed the Healer's look beyond him to the princess. "What is your name, girl?"

Calorn (and company)

"I think a life for your eye is redemption enough," Kain said to Wurl after advising Calorn and his men that just killing the girl they had captured was probably a good idea. Wurl nodded but then shook his head, the mass of tight black curls dancing about his temples.

"Nah...Malech would know, so 'e would. 'E's real good 'bout figgerin' dat sort o' t'ing out."

The smallest of their group, the one Luna had kicked in the chest, chimed in. "Yeah, and you know how he'd go on about honour and blahdeblah once he knew we had killed a prisoner instead of an enemy fighter."

Calorn had to agree on that point. His Lordship would likely to forgive the breach of orders far more easily than he would a breach of proper combat ettiquette. Protocol wasn't just lip service with him like it had been when Calorn served with Yaquell up north.

"He ordered the assassin brought to ground. This is the only thing we've seen sight of, it's down and alive and it's staying that way until his Lordship decides otherwise. Got it?" He gave a slow turn about his Fist of Talons and let his eyes bear into each soldier, one by one. Making extra certain that Wurl got the clue he was giving them.

The older soldier then looked at the young mercenary.

"Are you coming back to camp with us, Kain? Or do you freelancers just roam the battlefield however you wish?"

He stepped away from Luna for a moment to speak more quietly with the black-garbed man. "Besides, look at the markings on her livery, she is either an apprentice or blood to the Hunter. Are you willing to come between Malech and someone bearing those devices upon their selves?"

At the mention of the markings on her Kain glanced down in silent observation before then giving a light shrug.

"I'm just a simple mercenary under hire by your lord, and as long as he doesn't go against my contract or it expires before hand I have no reason to stand against his lordship or whatever he wishes to become of his prisoners."

He took a moment then to look around the surrounding area, acting as if he was looking for something to do.

"Seeing as my original orders were to "deal" with any defenders in this village but all are now dead except for this one, I'll just be accompanying you until ordered otherwise."

Both fear and anger ran through her, at the man before her and the soldiers who leered and laughed at the shamed princess.

However Jasmine has to admit how bravely this knight took the pain. She had seen many men not only wince but cry out as the bubbly mixture penetrated such deep wounds.

But that didnt mean she had to like him, or what he had and was about to do again to the poor bound royal girl. And she felt his eyes on her as she worked. Was he judging her abilities or what he'd like to do to her once she finished with his hand?

"Very well. You will see to it. Set up a tent near my pavilion for our Healer. Let all be aware that to touch her is forbidden, she is not mere villager flesh."

This news was both a godsend and a curse. It meant she would be protected from the barbarian acts that most women of the village would suffer from, but it also meant she'd be under heavier guard, specially if she was close to this knight that called himself a Lord. It would be much harder now to steal a horse and escape.

"I am Malech. I command here at the bequest of my Master. What is your name, girl?"

She returned her gaze back to the naked man before her who was flexing his injured hand.

"You may call me Jasmine."

Luna continued her silence, listining as they discussed her fate adding three more names to her list, Ignoring the under currents between Kain and Calorn as there was nothing there at the moment she could use to aid in her release, and cursed mentally a bit for had they taken the Mercenarys offering she might have stood a chance at escape or at least had a quick death.

Now it seemed she would have to meet this Malech.. Malech? Where had she heard that name.. then it came back to her, he was the one who had come for her father killing him in her stead. Her ice blue nearly white colored eyes blured with unshed tears that she refused to let fall and anger, strands of her long red hair haiving worked themselves free of the braid in her struggles now falling around her sholders and across her face, as she closed her eyes a moment to try and get her emotions under control and to think.

She had wondered at the time what the knight and her father could have to do with one another, and what the knight had ment by her father may as well have killed them himself, but there had been no time to ask questions of her father then and as he had taken the blow ment for her she wasnt likely to get the awncers now... unless they would awncer tho she doubted it....

Deciding to speak she had only one question she wanted awncered first that was first and for most in her mind, and had a feeling she wasnt going to like the awncer. Is Malech the one i shot with the arrow?

At there awncer she cursed allowed and had her hands not been tied she would have fought and forced them to kill her in the process, but with her hands tied, and the one still holding her sence Calorn had moved away to speak with Kain she could do nothing. At least for now.

If she had known the knight touching the princess was the one who had killed her father she would have aimed for his throat rather than just his hand,, damn her luck and the fates. Now she would be brought before him.

one more question perhaps two if they would awncer.. Why then did you attack this village? and what was it you wanted with my father?

Kain turned to the female prisoner as she asked her first question and nodded grimly while a few others confirmed it verbally with heated venom on their tongues.

Upon her second question Kain turned back to the man known as Calorn since such a question was only for him and his men to anwser.
He was only a mercenary after all, and to him it didn't matter to the rhythm or reason behind his employers agenda's.
It was only fate that he had offered up his services to the claw army while by a twist of fate he could of very well have been one of the many defenders of the town along with the girl.

Fate had not dealt such a hand though and Kain always refrained from such thoughts only concentrating on what mattered most to him...

Survival..

They did not awncer the rest of her questions deciding insted to take her back to the camp, and allow there captin or leader to deal with her one way or another.

The man in black Kain seemed to grow distant as they left the forrest keeping his own councel and this Luna could understand as he had said he was a hired sword arm what he thought was of no import.

Only survile was what mattered, and she wondered if there was a possability she could persuade him to help her in escape if nothing else, but there was no opertunity to speak with him before she was brought before the man she had shot threw the hand, and who had killed her father....Malech. Ohhh how she wished her hands were free... if only she had recognized him sooner there was no mistaking his identaty now.

She said nothing as they forced her to kneel infront of him leaving her hands bound, informing him of if not her name for they had not asked, but who her father was and that she was infact the one who had shot the arrow into his hand. She recognized the healer's apprentice Jasmine as she had accompanied the girl on other occasions helping to watch for wild bore and wolves while she gathered herbs.

She listened quietly as the injured men explained how one small slip of a woman had mannaged to take 4 seasioned warriors off guard injuring two of there party. She said nothing to Jasmine only shaking her head no in her direction when it looked as tho she might call out Luna's name.. If they wanted it they would have to ask.. Luna was not about to offer anything even something so simple as her name.

Suddenly as she told Malech her name, her eyes caught sight of the returning party. Luna was with them. Jasmine felt her heart sink. If she was alive it meant her father was not.

The men shoved Luna down in much the same way she had been treated, and she caught the ever so slight shake of her head. Jasmine wasnt about to start shouting out who she was, especially concerning who Luna's father was.

Luna had always been kind to her, and she would help protect her as much as she reasonably could.

She returned her eyes back to the imposing naked Lord infront of her.

Calorn (and company)

The longest Talon in the Fist that had brought Luna to ground shook his head slightly. Calorn had seen it so many times before. These rebels and assassins would do what they would, get caught at it, and then be captured to be brought to justice and, the moment they were in custody, it was question after question. He nodded to Wurl and the others and they got the girl moving back towards his Lordship.

As they emerged from the trees to the main clearing where they had left Him, Calorn saw that Lord Malech was undressed and speaking with a young woman. Probably the local Healer, although she seems younger than most. She looked their direction without fully taking her attention away from Lord Malech.

"We have what we believe to be your assailant, Lord."

"Good. Bring her here."

Calorn dragged Luna over and shoved her to the ground before Malech. She knelt there in a fully clothed reflection of the princess that was bound no less helplessly behind his Lord. Perhaps He will give her to us before executing her? That should help Wurl's morale. Wouldn't hurt mine, either.

Malech

The knight stepped forward slightly. His erection bobbed in the air between them as Malech bowed enough to take the Healer's hand and touch the back of its fingers to his lips. "A pleasure to meet you, Jasmine," Malech told her. As he straightened back up, she could see that his shaft had also regained some length and stability.

Then Calorn and his Fist emerged with a prisoner.

Malech turned to regard them. Listening to what Calorn said and indicating where the girl should be put. His increased senses could hear what the men were whispering to the Talons that had remained in camp and he was going to bring Calorn on the floor about it when his eyes spotted the design on the archer's clothes.

Hunter!

This new fact would not fully let Calorn and his men off the hook, but it explained much. The question now was, is this merely an apprentice or is there more to her than first impressions? A slight groan from behind him made Malech glance back to where the princess still awaited the rest of her opening.

He signalled one of his attendants to keep her Highness slick and pointed to the dowel to be used to begin preparing her. The thought made his crotch swell and he looked down at it.

It was long and thick and glistened somewhat in the waning sunlight. There was the usual discoloration from the mingling of his seed with the princess' own juices and her newly broken virginity, but it was not at full height anymore.

"What is her name, Calorn?"

"We haven't ascertained that yet."

"Have you even asked?"

Calorn stepped back and looked at the ground, calmly awaiting the expected reprimand. Malech shook his head. "I thought not. But I know you know who and what she might be and that knowledge must have overridden your usual efficiency."

Malech took a moment to think back all those years past. Then he stepped closer to the prisoner, and used her hair to draw her up so that she was still kneeling, but sitting upon heels. He looked closely at the features before him...the hair, the cheeks and chin, those fierce eyes ready to explode violence upon him...Yes, yes...so the rumours were true then

The dark Lord of the Claw released the girl's hair and stepped square to her. He smiled at how she dealt with his manhood before her...indeed, he could see the faintest of lines where he had brushed against her arm and shoulder in setting her upright...perhaps he might have a use for her, but there was a protocol to be followed first.

Malech let his eyes meet the girl's and he gently shook his head. "So, you thought to stop me from touching the princess? Or avenge the taking of this village? Perhaps the loss of the Hunter was unbearable?" He paused to take note how she reacted to his words.

"Well, you have failed in whatever you hoped for. Now, you are on your knees, bound, before me. Tell me, what shall I do with you...Luna?"
