Anyone consider Wickr or Telegram apps for kik substitute? Telegram you can form groups.

Telegram offers much more than Kik. You can use on numerous devices and it sync's among all.

I didn't like that you have to give your phone number to sign up and that your contacts on your phone can see that your on it.
I did MEWE and was able to use an email instead.

Also on Mewe.I am struggling to find a group with some form of credibility so to speak. Most groups are like a cheap pub where anyone's welcome and anything goes. Still, it's somewhere to hang out.
