does anyone know of a website or publisher for kids books that deal with stories on moral issues like

confidence

thinking and being positive

sharing


etc etc

there are like millions of kids books out there but how do u get the right book for the right time?

the kids are 4 - 7 years

You can publish your own book at http://www.lulu.com. That way, you can personalize it especially for your kids. Just a thought. Otherwise, I'm not sure.
 
Mercer Mayer does a whole series of Little Monster books that deal with those issues, and situations like new baby, stuff like that. Quite cute without being nauseating. Probably better for the 4 year old--tho the older one could read it to the younger one. (We used that trick a lot).

Scholastic publishes everything. They have a website. Barefoot Books stresses acceptance and tolerance. You may want to give them a shot. They have a nice online catalog this season on their website.

You can always ask your friendly neighborhood librarian for suggestions too--i've been out of the business so long i'm not current on what is out there now but those should give you a start.

While working at Borders I would always be arranging these books and I know that there's a manners and a sharing one, as well as a ton of others!
