this is about a man at the end of his rope who kidnaps a beautiful woman and they fall for each other. And the cop who tries to catch them...

I need someone to play to woman and someone to play the cop, anyone else is welcome.

OOC:

You need more detail still. Don't just say, "this is about a man who kidnaps a woman... oh, and the police". You need to develop a story line. Develop your character. I'm sure you're playing the man at his wit's end? Describe if there's anything you want the woman to look like. Only one cop? Male or female? Try adding some more detail and I'm sure the posters will want to RP with you.

Yes I am playing the man.Nothing has ever gone right in his life. he loses his girlfriend,He gets robbed, loses his job, and house. All he has left is his car,a cheap pistol he was too stupid to have on him when he was robbed and his clothes.

Id perfer a female cop.

Hes tall
blonde
green eyes
a fair complexion and ok build

I dont really care what the woman looks like,as long as she is fairly attractive.

I hope this is enough detail

OOC: I agree with Detail Police; you need to have more story. It is a SRP board after all...same for your other threads yea...don't take this the wrong way. :)

Hey I know I dont add enough detail I like to make things up as I go not totally plan things out.I keep things a bit of a mystery. But how much more detail could I add now?

OOC: It's not just the details, it's more about the story; to make it a good read there has to be more of a storyline, sometimes elaboration on the character's emotions, stuff like that.

I will start not that it matters no one will post.

I felt angry and hurt."I cant believe they took my house," i muttered. My girlfriend of 3 years just ran off with another man, some asshole on the street robbed me and I got
fired.BUt then my house was reposesed.I finish up the meal than get ready to pay, forgetting the robbery for a sec, than reach for my pistol instead,Im not haveing a good day....

ooc: Well, I was hoping for an answer before I started, but maybe you just didn't see my post.

ic: I was just finishing my dinner, and getting ready to ask for the check. My girlfriend had an emergency at home and had to leave suddenly. So I was left to finish my coffee alone. I had barely noticed the man dining at an adjacent table, until he pulled out a gun...

OOC:I didnt see your post I apologize, I saw it and im glad to have you

IC:I pulled the gun and pointed it at the guy behind the cash register"Empty it now!," i yelled.I didnt want to hurt anybody I was just out of option's.He reached for something under the counter I fired a shot over his head and saw the bat drop...

Christy

I saw the gun and my stomach pitched itself against my throat. I sat frozen as the man directed the guy working behind the counter to "Empty it now!"

I flinched and squeezed my eyes shut when I heard the gunshot. I was afraid to open them again, terrified of what I would see.

Charles Griffen:

"Next time I wont miss," I threatened.Actually there wouldnt be a next time.I glanced around and saw an attractive blonde who had been sitting just opposite my table.
I grabbed the money and started to head out the door when I saw cops.

I freaked out.

I grabbed the blonde,"Your my ticket out of here," I whispered in her ear. With the gun pointed in her back i marched her out with me to my car keeping her in front, than I directed her to get in,god what was I doing....

Christy

My eyes flew open at his next words, "Next time I won't miss." I was unbelievably thankful he had not killed the poor cashier. The frightened restaurant worker was desperately trying to pull money from the register with all haste.

When the teen had finally accomplished his task, the gunman collected his loot and started toward the door. I was just beginning to think the whole ordeal was going to end with no one getting hurt when the gunman suddenly stopped and turned around.

He grabbed my arm and jerked me to my feet. "You're my ticket out of here," he whispered menacingly in my ear. With the gun pressed to my back I had little choice but to cooperate. He directed me out of the restaurant and I was vaguely aware of the flashing lights on the police cars that had arrived. He pushed me toward a nearby car and told me to get in.

ooc: Now would be a good time for the police officer to join in. (hint, hint) ;)

OOC:

Perfect time for the cop.

Charles:

"Just stay quiet,"I told her.AS we pulled out of the parking lot.As we started to driving I finally spoke with a very soft tone in my voice " whats your name,".I said as I looked into her beautiful green eyes.I god I could almost smell how scared she was....

Christy

"Just stay quiet," he instructed.

I couldn't form a coherent thought, so there was very little chance of me trying to start a conversation. He seemed preoccupied with his escape and I was trying desperately not to panic. I was failing miserably.

After an indeterminate amount of time had pasted, he turned and looked directly into my eyes. "What's your name?" He asked in an almost gentle tone that I found at great odds with his previous demeanor.

"Christy," I finally managed to push past the terror lodged in my throat.

Charles:

"Christy," she replied."pretty name, mines charles," i extended my hand as if i expected her to shake it.She did.
"Im so sorry to pull you into this,I didnt want to do that at all,I freaked," I said. She did'nt wanna hear my problems I just kidnapped her.I put the gun in the glove compartment. She knew better then to reach for it.and was I hitting on her,i think I was I cant believe it.I pulled over and started to cry....

Christy

“Pretty name, mine’s Charles,” he said and offered his hand for me to shake. Not wanting to provoke him, least he become violent, I shook his hand.

Then he surprised me by apologizing and putting the gun into the glove compartment. If that wasn’t enough to completely dumbfound me, he then pulled the car to the side of the road and began to cry.

I sat there staring at him in total astonishment. I thought about running, but since there wasn’t anything close to where we were stopped, I knew there was a chance he could catch me. I reasoned that I would probably only get one chance to escape this nutcase, so I wanted to wait for the perfect opportunity.

So for now, I sat quietly waiting for him to finish his outburst.

Charles:

I pulled myself together and started the car.Christy had hunched far away by the door. She was pretty. She probably thought I was a maniac I decided to explain why I did that hoping she would understand....

Christy

This guy was clearly insane! Well at least he had stopped crying and seemed to have gotten a grip on himself. He started the car and began to drive again. It was clear he didn’t have a plan and seemed to be driving aimlessly. My mind was focused on finding an opportunity to escape.

After a few minutes he broke into my thoughts and was explaining the reasons for his actions. At first I couldn’t understand why he felt a need to explain himself to me. But the more I listened, the more I discovered he wasn’t so much insane as he was just desperate.

I tried to remind myself that this guy had taken me against my will, and was quite possibly dangerous. I tried to tell myself pitying him was the worst mistake I could make, but I just couldn’t help myself. Somewhere deep inside his story struck a cord and I couldn’t deny that I felt sorry for him.

I was no stranger to hard times, and could empathize with his feeling that life could be unjustly bleak. I wondered briefly if I was faced with the same circumstances that I wouldn’t do something a little crazy.

Feeling less frightened, I worked up the nerve to ask, “So what do you plan to do now?”

CHARLES:

"I really dont know," I said in response to her question."Find a place to stay for the night," I said.I pulled into a gas station."Want anything to drink or eat?" i asked her. She looked at me kinda funny..

Christy

I had assumed he didn’t have a plan, but I had hoped by questioning him, he would begin to think of one. He pulled into a gas station and asked, “Want anything to drink or eat?”

What was he thinking? I just stared at him for a minute before replying, “No, thank you, but I would like to go now. You don’t need me anymore, you could just leave me here.”

Charles:

"I thought about that, but If I let you go In a sitting duck to the cops, only thing I will say for sure is that I wont hurt you," I said. I took the gun out of the glove compartment and put it in my belt." I was trying to be nice," I said. why dont I just let her go,I have no use for her."Im getting some coffee," I said and headed in....

Christy

ooc: Sorry SM, I hadn't expected to get so busy over the holiday, things just seemed to get away from me. :(

ic: I hadn’t really expected him to just let me go, but I was disappointed regardless. As he was getting his coffee I tried to formulate an escape plan. Once again, he had picked a remote area in which to stop. This gas station seemed to be the only establishment around for miles, and appeared to be deserted except for a single attendant. I quickly discounted enlisting the aid of the employee when I observed she was a teenage girl. If I appealed to her for help it would only put her in the same danger I was in.

He had mentioned finding a place to stop for the night. I decided that unless another customer came into the gas station, I would wait until he went to sleep and then make my escape. This plan seemed much more realistic than trying to out-run him. I was beginning to believe (maybe foolishly) that he really didn’t want to hurt me, so maybe by biding my time I would have a better chance for success.

Charles:

"Just to let you know,I dont sleep,"I told her. She was trying to find an ecsape. It wouldnt work.

Christy

He returned in a few minutes with two cups of coffee, and offered one to me, saying, “I got you some anyway, it’s bound to be a long night.” Not knowing what else to do, I accepted the cup and murmured my thanks. As I sipped the hot brew, I stared sightlessly out the side window, lost in my own thoughts. I was no longer concerned with where we were going, I just hoped we would get there soon. Because the sooner we stopped for the night, the sooner I could make my escape.

He suddenly broke into my reverie to say, "just to let you know, I don’t sleep." Giving me the eerie feeling that he had been reading my thoughts. Having no answer for his absurd claim, I simply held my silence. He continued to drive for quite some time and having nothing better to do, I began to study my captor. I was slightly stunned to realize he was actually very attractive. Under different circumstances I might have even found him appealing.

Unfortunately right now he was looking a little haggard. I could tell the strain of the day was starting to wear on him. His shoulders had started to slump and his eyes were beginning to droop. I could clearly tell he was exhausted. I was trying to decide if I should say something before he fell asleep behind the wheel and killed us both, but he saved me the trouble by choosing that moment to pull off the highway and into a motel parking lot. It was a seedy-looking place that looked like it catered to a less-than-desirable clientele.

He left me in the car again while he went to get a room. I thought about making a break for it while he was inside, but decided it would be a better idea to wait until he had gone to sleep and seek help. When he returned to the car, he came around to my side and opened my door. “Come on,” he said. I obeyed, hoping that by not resisting him, he would let his guard down even further.

He directed me to the room and unlocked the door. I stepped inside and waited while he located the light. When the room was illuminated I could see it was even worse on the inside than it had been on the outside. Seeing my look of disdain, he remarked, “It’s not the Ritz, but I’m afraid it will have to do.”

I watched with curiosity as he then went straight to the bed and started to strip the blanket off. When he pulled the top sheet off and started to tear it in strips I began to panic. I instantly realized I had underestimated him, and looked for an immediate escape. Unfortunately, he had positioned himself at the foot of the bed, which put him between the door and myself.

All too soon he had accomplished his task and walked toward me with a determined look in his eyes. “I’m not going to hurt you, I just have to make sure you are not going to get away,” he said. Not at all convinced, I tried to back away, but had nowhere to go. He grasped my arm and I started to struggle. My attempt to free myself was laughable, he was twice my size and very strong. I didn’t have a chance. He made short work of securing my hands behind my back, then pushed me onto the bed and tied my feet.

After he had me sufficiently trussed, he went to the end of the bed and retrieved the blanket he had dropped there earlier. He surprised me by covering me with it and tucking it around me in an almost fatherly-fashion. Seeing my shoes peeking out from the end of the blanket, he removed them and kicked off his own. After turning off the light he went to the other side of the bed and lay down next to me. I was rigid with fear. It was excruciating waiting in the dark, wondering what he was planning to do to me.

When I heard him snoring my relief was so great I almost laughed. Now all I had to do was get these knots undone and I would be free. I struggled against the tight bindings for what seemed like hours with no success. I finally gave up and fell into an exhausted sleep.
