We are quite diverse in our culture and customs depending on the region.

I am in Northeastern KY on the OHIO and WEST VIRGINIA borders. And they are right. It depends on where you want to go and what you want to do.
And not all of the people talk with an accent.... some of us are implants.

I'm a native but I don't have an accent. It took many years of careful training to get it out of me.

I am from Canada and have some friends in Kentucky. Even the ones who say they don't have an accent, to My ear they do. It would be like Me saying I dont have a Canadian accent and if I talked to one of you all, you would be the first to say I do indeed have an accent
