Very tough group of excellent horses this year in the Derby. I like four of them, but any one of them could win, in my opinion. In alphabetical order they are American Pharoah, Carpe Diem, Dortmund, and Materiality. I won't be betting on the race.

It was over for Materiality a split second after the gate opened. A speed horse who likes to be on the lead can't break slow. Congrats to AP and his connections.
