Accredited University Invites Tax Protester, Creationist and Felon, Kent Hovind, to Speak
Since I never talk about Christians ever... not ever... since I've never said one bad thing about Christianity, I thought I'd throw this nice little story out there. I have known about this guy for possibly a decade or more, but I became more interested in him when I became an atheist.
Kent Hovind has a bullshit doctorate from Patriot Baptist University in Colorado. He went on to build a Creationist theme park called "Dinosaur Adventure Island." His main approach to spreading the gospel was children. He's very vocal about this, and it's no secret. He gets to children any way he can because they are the easiest to convince that god is real. Because once you get past the age of 8, it seems like a load of horse shit.
Then, Kent was given a 10-year prison sentence for a whole host of charges, but generally speaking, he was committing fraud and evading taxes. He considers himself to be a "Tax Protester." The irony of this is that he argues to this very day that he doesn't want tax dollars to go to public schools where they teach the Big Bang Theory and Evolution.
MSU decided they are going to have this felon speak using their school as a platform. Now, honestly... I don't really care about this. What I do care about is below.

Why is Kent Hovind relevant in 2017? Well, there may be one person interested in this debate he had with a 22yo physicist. He gets his ass handed to him over and over and over. I must say, this is just an awesome beat down of a debate. If you have known about Kent and have hated his guts as much I do, you'll love this. There is an original debate and then a sequel.
