So very sad that this is the state of affairs... shot seven times in the back when so many other options exist for Police. Since this happens over and over and over again it is the evidence of systemic racism within the Police forces all across the USA.

So, until Police stop shooting and killing citizens for no good reason and twice as likely if your black and make....no peace will be the new normal.

The solution is clear...stop the killing of unarmed black men, stop the shooting of unarmed black men who are just living their lives, stop killing black men who are already in custody...get your fucking knees off their necks!

Jacob Blake didn't die, and he did have a knife

Wisconsin Governor Evers also appointed Noble Wray to independently review the shooting and consult with the DA before deciding of charges should be brought against the officer. In short, Wisconsin and Kenosha did it right.

While I agree that shooting someone in the back seven times is unreasonable, so is ignoring law enforcement's legal commands and brandishing a knife to prevent oneself from being apprehended. The fact that his kids were in the car made the shooting a bit more reasonable because no one can predict what may have happened if Mr. Blake had been allowed to drive off with them in the vehicle.

It was a justified shooting, but an excessive number of shots in the minds of many. Another good example of why a better method of non-lethal debilitation needs to be developed. Tasers seem to "malfunction" far too often for my liking.
