Today - isn't this really what all politics and politicians are all about?

Politicians CAN'T tell the truth to the people. The people can not handle the truth.

Politicians MUST deal with unspeakable compromises among their constituents. Because of the complexity of issues, all intertwined throughout our complex society.

Politicians MUST be dishonest - in order to survive. Honesty has no place in modern politics. Honesty in politics - might get you killed and damn sure won't get you re-elected.

Thats why I could never be a politician. I am way too honest. I am incapable of saying I did one thing and doing another. I can withhold some of the truth, But I can't out right lie. I think it is a shame where this country started and where it is right now.

The truth, the "real things" that happen....

Fortunately hidden from general public consumption......

Are so contrary and foreign to the ideals of most "normal" folks.....

That - if they were to become aware of this reality.....

It would literally shatter their entire belief system - th real truth, the actual reality - if known to most......

Would shatter already fragile (that's why so many cling to their beliefs, they're fragile to begin with) lives.

Pandemonium and chaos would ensue - and then - there would be nothing for the greedy to play with.

Do think so huh? Don't believe me?

If they could, my good buddies over at No Such Agency (NSA) would tell ya - the truth.

The truth that I've been misfortunate enough to get wind of isn't so earthshattering. It would just merely let the public know that yes, their government really is capable of atrocity.

Public pandemonium or governmental shake-up? Would we put up with their crap anymore? Would the foundations of american society collapse?

I think that the truth, and color me TS here baby, isn't going to make the public run baa-ing for their nearest savior. They will, however, understand why no one trusts the American government.

First off KM - it isn't just the US Gov.....

But you know that.

Second - I think you may be giving JQP (John Q. Public) too much credit. And a belief system has nothing to do with intellect - it has everything to do with - intellectual anchoring. The foundation on which one builds their intellect.

Many folks could not even grasp that afforementioned concept.

Nope - the majority of folks would loose it in some way, shape or form - I don't mean they'd go nuts and start banging their heads on trees or anything - but their lives would change - the realization that "they had been duped" - that "they were played the fool" - and "that everything they had worked toward in life was bullshit." Would bare out negatively.

Geedy leader's need - they thrive - the make the most profit from - a positive society.

It's just like a healthy plant - you feed it fertilizer - water it - keep it in the sun - then you prune it - harvest it - take from it what you want - and because it's so healthy - it stays alive for future harvesting.

This is what life is all about - most folks just don't know it - there to busy enjoying the fertilizer. And if you took it away - of it the fertilizer went away (what no more cable TV? No Internet?) then they would wither.

The leadership does not want society to wither in the least - so the fertilizer? It just keeps getting deeper and deeper.

As the public's smiles get wider and wider.
