Yeah, it has a lot of problems. for music I would suggest audiogalaxy for video I've heard winmx is pretty good but I haven't tried it...

If you don't waqnt all the pop-ups and spyware and other assorted shit that comes with KaZaA, type "Kazaa lite" in your search bar.

Also, type in "Popup Stopper"

Audiogalaxy has even worse spyware problems than Kazaa, Shaq.

WinMX is a pretty good all around program. Vid can be a pain, but music is great.

i actually had ad-aware as a program but unfortunatley running it causes some essential parts of the kazza program to be erased when you run it! oh well its a descent web site i only use it periodically!

i use audiogalaxy.com which is great for music (not much it hasnt got) but its not as user friendly as kazaa

I'm with you, Riff.

The Newsgroups are a much better source of video, and with a few precautions, much less invasive.

Spend 20 minutes on any number of websites (Agent, X-News, MicroPlanet Gravity) and you can figure things out pretty easy.

Sign up with a service like Easynews and download to your heart's content.

Kazaa and Audiogalaxy make me way too uncomfortable!

Kazaa question.

I use Morpheus but when I connect it shows "connecting to Gnutella" and some users show up as ***@kazaa. Anybody know what all this means?

Regardless of how often you use it, unless you uninstall the spyware your PC can and will do all kinds of stuff that will piss you off and fuck up your computer.
