Kay Ryan has been named the new US Poet Laureate, succeeding Charles Simic.

I like this one by Ryan. Reminds of Tzara in a way--simple imagery that echoes deeper on many levels. Can comment both on a personal level or in a larger societal way. Just like the mice poem that was not really about mice. Ahem.
