Hi, I'm the author of the KatieTay stories. You can call me Katie.

I've been watching the ratings for my stories with some bemusement, because I seem to get very varied ratings with nary a comment.

The numbers seem to indicate a few 1-bombs, as I believe the term is, combined with a few 5-bombs.

I'm open to criticism. I am very aware I'm not writing anything like great literature. This isn't what I usually write. My stuff here on Literotica has 1 purpose and 1 purpose only -- to make myself puddle as quickly as possible, and to help others get wet/hard as quickly. I actively fight my tendency to dwell on deep emotions, to wax poetic or lyrical, to set up plausible plots. Maybe another series.

So, maybe anyone who has read and rated my stories without commenting, can comment either on the story itself, or here? I'd love to hear responses, be they positive or negative.

I'm just glad Jim isn't gonna be the only guy who exists. I mean, no spoilers here for those who haven't read, but his behavior makes me want to pull a Fatality on him.

Hm it figures that my guy readers are going to suture with Jim.

It's strange... because to me Jim is barely there. He's a shadow who gets increasingly irrelevant as the series progresses, and I partly want him that way. Eventually he's just going to be a McGuffin that turns out to be a red herring, or so I intend. This could change though.

Hmm... from the gradings I am getting it seems some people will like it and some people won't. That's more or less what I thought at first. Oh well.

Hmmm... I think I get it.

When I categorize my story under "Incest/Taboo" because there is mention of sexual activity between sisters, I don't appeal to the Incest crowd as much, because they came expecting something else.

When I put it under Non-Consent/Reluctance, I get much better ratings because possibly that is where my stories belong.

But, if future stories contain some activity with mothers involved, how should I categorize my stories?

Any tips, anyone?
