According to a sound bite from the Houston Texans player in Hudson's recent post on Snapchat, she and Watt were on a "date," although the circumstances surrounding the event are a bit unclear.
In the photos and video, which you can see and judge for yourself via the fan page JJ Watt Ladies, Watt, 27, and Hudson, 36, are sitting next to each other at a restaurant and playing with photo filters.
"Apparently the stars belong to the hottest person on the date, that's why Kate wins," Watt says in the video, while moving the camera phone from Hudson to himself. When the "star" filter appears over Watt's head as well, the two new friends share an excited reaction and a laugh.
Only time will tell with regard to what type of "date" Hudson and Watt had, but for now we're thinking chance encounter over a romantic one.
