I tend not to do this, but I think the circumstances warranted the deviation.
This really is more an announcement then anything else, but I really didn't think it was appropriate to any other part of the board.
I had the good fortune to be approached by a fellow author to write an interpretation of her story from the other person's point of view. It was actually a lot of fun writing a story where I had parameters previously defined, and I liked the challenging of doing more than just changing all the "she's to he's, yet imprinting some of my own style on the story while preserving the basic tenor and pace of the story.
I invite everyone to take a look at the stories, mine and hers, and tell me how you think it went (I know, I know...be careful what you ask for!).
The original story, Karma & the Cowboy, was written by HillbillyGirl. My rewrite, The Cowboy & Karma, Ch. 1 and The Cowboy & Karma, Ch. 2 have just been posted.
Enjoy!
