Dear Karen;

I've pretty much ignored the threads about you because, well, frankly, I didn't know you. I don't open a lot of threads that come up here. But since it seems like every third thread is about you these days I thought I'd peek in and see what the hub-bub was about.

I've decided not to comment on most of it. Not my thing. But there were two things I would like to comment about:

No regrets? The best way to live ones life is so you regret nothing, not so that you have to say you regret nothing in order not to have to apologise for the things you've done. (The 'you' being the general, and not Karen specific "you")

And secondly being pre-law with an eye on a judgeship have you pondered the wisdom of your activities on Lit? Photos and statements of the highly negative extreme do not appear to be of the un-bias and fair nature we hope to see in our nations judges.

With a membership of 200k plus you never really know who will see your posts, or when, and how it might affect your future.

And that's all I wanted to say.

I am not going to rant - but sometimes people aren't just what you read on the board. Personally I think Karen has a lot of spunk, certainly more so than I did at her age.

By 19 I was a young mommy, making things up as I went along. Learning and making mistakes. IMO Karen is a very bright young lady who hopefully will achieve the things she wants in life.

I have seen people here make comments and them being taken the wrong way. I think Q pointed this out. You can't see if someone is laughing and posting in jest etc.

I have made coments myself here and been horrified that people
might have misconstrued what I meant. So I hold back frequently
and say only a little of what I think. Not always but more often than not.

Just my comments.

I like to see the good in most people. (I'm rambling I know - and
not really making the point I want to make. I think I'll go back to lurking or take a nap. lol)

If a moderator decides to take down a picture or a post, you'll find a remark in that specific post telling you it was done by a moderator. But before that they give you a warning via PM in order to make you edit that specific post.

Happened to me after I published copyrighted pics on the ampic board. The moderator asked me to edit my pics otherwise he would delete the entire thread.
