Justice no where near served!!!!!

Earlier this week, a jury found a man not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter. He took a life jacket off of a little girl and killed her. Reports said she drowned and the man was quoted as saying he knew she would drown. Another statement from the girl's brother stated he saw the man holding her under water so her screams would not be heard. What kind of yellow bellied no ball having coward does this type of thing? Why is it that with the facts being presented as I stated a few above, the jury did not find him guilty of murder?

It is things and situations like that that is and will force people of our country to take matters into their own hands. Like the man some years back whose son was molested by another man. As he was being led out of a court room on his way to Texas to stand trial, the father back turned to a phone acting like he was talking, all of a sudden turned and blew that asshole's brains out. He got 7 years in prison which was 6 years 364 days too long.

As I think about these things and situations, I wonder to myself. Why is it that I spent 9 years of my life protecting people like that of this country when the judicial department cannot even serve justice? These types of people need to have their asses coated with honey placed on a fire ant bed and left there then tortured by playing russian roulette with an empty gun. After the sixth and final trigger pull cut his throat and stand back as his/her corawdly ass bleeds to death and sees the life vanish from his/her body.

Interesting spiel. However, what would happen if we let justice be served by a venue other than a court? If we take it from any government organisation, then we're left with vigilantes. That's a scary thought. On the other hand, the knowledge that these kind of assholes get off on less than a proper sentence is also scary.

I actually agree with the father you mentioned. Life is a gift; the "right to life" is a legal fabrication. It's a sad state of affairs when a person has to resort to such measures because the justice system they trust has let them down. The unscrupulous and the ignorant will kill us all.

I agree that if the courts do not atleast in their eyes try to do right that vigilantes will be the judge, jury, and prosecutor. And that is scary as you said. All I said was that it is crap like that that will force people to take the law into their own hands. The world has become a scray place indeed. I mean look at what has happened in the past few weeks. You have a woman kill an expecting mother cut the child from the mother then kill herself. You have (here in Memphis) a highschool student shoot at his gf and ends up shooting their baby then kills himself. You have that with the little girl who drowned, the terroist attack on the naval destroyer, the British embassy bombing and a Saudi plane hijacked today. Not to mention the fact that alot of the criminals are being given lesser sentences and jail time because the cities of the US are too cheap to build larger jails for the fact that the poloticians do not want top take any more money from a few deciding votes. That is why I think the world needs another island like the past Austrailia, dump all the criminals there and let them fend for themself in good old survivor fashion with out the cheesey host and immunity challenges.

Maybe the guy in the life jacket story was over come by blind panic - an absolutely obsessive determination to survive that temporarily made him lose sight of the moral values ingrained in him.

People drowning often endanger those rescuing them for example.

But maybe you're right - the old Lynch mob process served us well in years gone by. Gee I can almost smell the polyester sheets and that beautiful smell of oak crosses burning in the winter moonlight ... Oh those were the days.
