Just wondering about location

My general reading on the populations that visit the How To boards and post decent stuff is that a fair number are from New England or from Washington state (I am).

Am I just imagining things or has anybody else noticed something similar?

While there are certainly a number of Americans, I wouldn't say they're all from New England or Washington state. I'd have thought the population here might be similar to the US. That would explain the New Englanders.

There are a number from the mid-west. HTers aren't even all Americans. Aussie, Dutch, Canadian as a minimum.

I've just noticed a lot of them from WA state and New England, not saying they all are. Maybe it's just me.

A lot of Aussies too.

You do bring up a good point with the fact that a lot aren't from the US. But I think I can safely say that a great majority (on the English side of things) are from English-speaking countries although I have encountered a few from other places.

I can only speak on the New England mention -- it's just 'cuz we're all smarty and stuff, ya no havad an MiT.

I never really noticed the location demographic.
