That is just so hard... I understand the girl died, but can you imagine being the boy?

You kissed her and she died.

On a side note, I'm actually amazed by these type of allergies.

One of my co-workers has an allergy to egg which is that bad...he's never ate a baked good because of it.

Also freaks me out because I'm allergic to lobster (I don't think this bad), but it actually 'tastes' different to me.

I always thought lobster was spicy... but being poor I never ate much... I finally made enough money to have a lobster tail and I almost had to be taken to the hospital because I reacted so fast.

My girl freaked out... so I told her it was probably the lobster 'Too spicy'... she REALLY freaked out 'cause she said lobster is almost sweet.

I was like 'No... lobster it's tingly spicy..."

That's when I had to talk her down from going to the hospital... I didn't know tingly was bad.

I was on my back trying to breathe for two hours.

No more lobster ever for me... weird, thing is I'm ONLY allergic to lobster, I can eat the other shellfish just fine. They think what I'm actually allergic to is ingested iodine.

Sincerely,
ElSol

They're wrong!

If you were allergic to ingested iodine you probably would have been dead by now if you didn't know about it. Iodine is produced naturaly by anything that lives in water (fish, shellfish, octopus, all sorts of goodies). It's also added to iodized salt - which is what is normally put out as table salt both in houses and restaurants. Not to mention that almost every food product on the shelf with 'salt' as an ingredient uses the iodized stuff.

Trust me. i have reason to know this.

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Actually, i have an ingested iodine allergy. The last time i had a reaction they had to use three adrenaline shots to stopit, which is actually enough to kill a person.

i learned what to avoid quickly.

elsol:
The good news is that you know you are allergic to lobster and can try to avoid foods containing lobster. Lobster is not used in too many foods because it is quite expensive.

Now for the bad news. I have known a couple of people who were allergic to lobster. At first they could eat other similar seafood, with no side effects. However, as they got older, they began to develop the "lobster reaction" to other seafood as well. I am NOT a doctor, however I am advising you to be very careful with seafood. Right now you can eat seafood, later it may begin to eat back.

Damn!

Dying at age 15 is awful no matter what, but that boy is gonna have some serious issues.

:(

It's actually interesting.

Because I'm not allergic to all parts of the lobster...

I can eat claws and it tastes how it tastes to everyone else... it's the tail that I react badly too.

And believe me... since that day the most common question when I'm eating something new is to look at my girl and ask

"Is this spicy to you?"

"Yes... it's spicy."

"Awesome! 'Cause this shit is pretty good!"

Sincerely,
ElSol
