Hello everyone -

I just submitted my first story to Lit! :D

Just wanted to share...but I do have a question: at what point do I become eligible to use an avatar?

I've not found anything in the site forums or FAQ threads.

EDIT: Never mind my avatar question. I was just told the answer.

It's a good feeling isn't it? Try not to put too much store in the comments and voting. Just enjoying seeing your work posted.

Wondered where you went....sorry you had to re-do everything. Must be the elves trying to post the nude photo requirement rule on the new authors accounts....

Nude is good, nekkid is better...

Thanks! I never do put too much into forum votes/comments. I've been in the arts long enough to know the difference between a good critique and plain ol' BS. ;)

Thanks! It was pretty strange, whatever the cause. Regardless, I found my way back!

Yes, don't put too much stock in the comments. If you're happy with your work, keep doing what you do; don't be swayed by those who say "do this" and "this" and "this." They can write their own damned stories.

Welcome

No one seems to have answered this part.

I recall it took me 100 posts to the boards before my avatar became active. If you hunt through the FAQ's there is one that discusses all of this.

Thanks for the answer; I did find out it was 100 through another forum thread. Also, I did do a thorough search of various FAQ threads and never saw anything about avatars except for a description of what they were.

You should add a link to your signature so everybody can find your story without having to scroll through author pages....just a thought. And I can't WAIT to see what your avatar will turn out to be ;)

Hi, EA and sjose, and welcome to Literotica and the Authors' Hangout. This is a nice place to hang out and meet people and discuss writing, and politics too, if that is your bag. :)
