... and I must say it'S a pretty good movie.

Very moving, well acted and scripted.
I also have to say I respect Angelian Jolie even more after it. I always knew she was a remarkable women of inner and outer beauty (all her charity work and stuff, she really is a heroine) but know I know she's more than just that chick from 'Tomb Raider'; a good actress. Same goes for Wynona.

And the movie shared some very interesting thoughts aboout mental deseases, especially depression. (I found myself in the main character). Some lines got it quiet right in describing it.

Good effort all in all and worth watching if you want something else than another pop-corn-fun-Jerry-Bruckheimer-movie-evening !

Snoop: Seconded on the recommendation, it's one of my favourite films. Might watch that tonight. I though Brittany Murphy was brilliant in it too.

Yeah, I never knew about her when I first saw her in '( Mile'. Now I discovered that she was a good actress before.

And I have to say the movie kinda is like 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest' with girls and for a younger audience.

And I mean it as a good thing.

I'm glad you've found a movie you like. I found it less satisfying than you do. I guess that proves we're different people. :D

I think so, sweetie. :) Just remember, you're unique, just like everybody else. :D

Snoop, the book is a very good look into mental illness. Haven't seen the movie, might some day. P. :)

Hey P, I didn't even know there was a book. I might check that out.

It's written by the main character (Ryder's) and is a true story. P.

I'm not unique. :p

Actually, while I thought the movie was well-acted, it just never really captured my interest. But I think I've become one of the most picky people on Earth when it comes to movies (which is odd, since I will inevitably see any horror film that is released).

:)

I was Winnona for the past three weeks while I was away from here...except I can't play guitar.

I liked it, Snoop, though I was never quite clear on the nature of her 'illness' (or how exactly she got better).

I've loved that movie since it first came out. It's amazing, and I often find myself as Susana. All the actors and actresses were amazing, especially Polly's character...it had to have taken a lot to get that character down so well. The book is also amazing, so I suggest everyone who likes the movie to pick that up.
