Just got back from an 8 month deployment on the 25th. Anyone in the San Diego area want to talk and maybe meet up? PM me or respond here.

Wrong coast ... but I couldn't miss the opportunity to thank you for your service. Hope you find what you're looking for (or who!).

Well thank you for your gratitude its greatly appreciated.

Maybe if I were a woman this thread would be poppin lol

Don't sell yourself short. Women do scope some personals.

But the key is... you gotta be personal.. your profile is empty...
spill some beans man!

Lol wel I guess I'll make this my official questionnaire forum. Anything y'all wanna know just ask I'm an open book

Question: Who is your favorite GoT character and why?

Man that's a tough one. I love them all really. Jon reminds me of myself in some ways, especially his and Arya's relationship, it's a lot like mine and my youngest sister's.

Danerys is everything Viserys wasn't. She's Rhaegar reborn and Rhaegar was reverted throughout the land a lot of people liked him. She's good to her people and wise way beyond her years. It's doesn't hurt that the actress who plays her is absolutely gorgeous. Plus she has 3 baby dragons!!

And then you got Tyrion. He's so smart and witty and self aware. He knows he can't do stuff other men can do so he makes up for it by using his brain, and name lol. I always look forward to Tyrion chapters, as I do all these characters.

My favorite is a tie between those three. I'm always excited to read their chapters. Oh and Arya too, though I don't feel like typing anymore on my phone lol.

Cool. I also love the three of them. And, yes, Tyrion, the snarky small guy.

Next question: Let's say you're an actor, if you were given the chance to act a role for the GoT series, which character would you like to portray?

I think I'd make a pretty good Jon Snow, just cause I feel like I can relate to him. A lot of the things he struggles with I can see why he struggles with them cause I'd feel the same way in his shoes.

Ser Jorah Mormont is a close second. I've been in his shoes when it comes to him
And Danerys plenty of times lol. There's actually a word for it;
La Douleur Exquise- the heart wrenching pain of wanting the affection of someone unattainable

Haha! You got a list then!

Next question: Why do you like to portray Dany?

The simplest answer would be that she's the mother of dragons and dragons are bad ass. While that's part of the reason that's not all of it.

She is strong and independent, building a kingdom from scratch. I've only read the first 3 books so I only know about her up until Meeren, but so far she's shown wisdom beyond her years, leadership qualities I think only Ned has shown so far, and a sense of love and caring for her people that seems to exceed all the other lords. Plus, she's the mother of fucking dragons lol. The chapter in the book where she hatches her eggs was magnificent, way better than the scene in the show, and the scene was spectacular.

And it doesn't hurt that the actress who portrays her is absolutely stunning.

Cheers! I like Emilia Clarke's portrayal of Dany... Dany is really a badass.

Next question: Why is the sky blue?

The sky is no color actually. The sky doesn't even exist it's just empty space. It's just the sunlight reflecting off the ocean, which is why it's black at night, but I'm sure that's nothing you didn't already know.

For people east of Nevada, I say south of LA.
For people who know Southern California, I say I live near Disneyland.

Ah ok. I used to work construction right around there, though I haven't been to Disneyland in forever lol.

Do you go often?
