Which country are you from? If you're American or Australian, which State? If Canadian, which Province?

I was wondering just how multicultural Litland actually is. Of course, if it's under your AV you don't need to spill the beans.

Oh yeah... and what's the weather like in your neck of the woods right now?

(edited to add the below)

Well, I'm in Ohio and it's pretty mild here right now at 50 degrees. Rainy though and getting cooler through the night.

Wicked:kiss:

It probably does say under my avi - but will specify by saying - in the snow :(

USA here. I'm from Nebraska and currently live in Illinois. Both are in the Midwest, and the temp is pretty mild still. Nice "jeans an' a flannel" kinda weather. ;)

India. South.

Weather - about 30 degrees C during the day. Cooler at night... lovely.

Well, here in my little niche of the world, slightly north and west of Auckland (our unofficial capital city), it's about 7.30am Wednesday and it's 15oC (60oF).

Finally the howling gale has stopped here. I'm told there were snowflurries expected down the country yesterday, we had hail icicles landing on the house yesterday afternoon. And they tell us it's meant to be warming up for summer. lol

We're so far apart, but it's strange how our weather is similar at the moment. :) Nice though. :)

Come on. Where's everybody else? Jump in and tell us where you're from. :)

Southern Ontario, Canada.

Warm, cold, snow, thaw, drizzle, ice, warm, tornado warning, pelting rain, bitching lightening storm, and now, overcast.

The summer was so dry, that the leaves did not turn red before dropping off. The best they could do, was some turned yellow. The rest fell while still green. In leu of a proper fall of leaves, we seem to be getting lots of weather. :(

We had a record-breaking cold Halloween. The ghosts were white from frostbite.

Now, the temperature is above normal, High: 7 degrees C, Low: 2 degrees C.

NE England, a little North of the Eastern end of Hadrian's Wall. Cool and showery today, with most of the leaves gone from the trees. Good 'staying-indoors-and-writing' weather, so why am I not?

i am here

in south west england.

on the top of the bit that sticks out in the bottom left hand side. South of Bristol. North of Exeter.

It's dark and wet. Tomorrow will be grey and wet. It seldom gets very cold here. I'm still in shorts. But the whisky does help there.

Califooooornia

*Northern* California, that is. The nutty part, as opposed to the flaky part. ;-)

It's damp from a big weekend rainstorm, with the leaves half turned and starting to fall. Coolish, breezy, sunny. We've lit the furnace, but the heat doesn't go on except early morning and late at night. This is the yardwork time of year...;-)

Coastal Mississippi, sixty-five degrees, and my camellias are blooming.

SoCal (as it says below), born and raised. Sunny and warm here today, 84 degrees today. Rained Thursday, Friday and Saturday last week. The beach got pounded by twelve foot surf -- Wowzaa! Now, we have Santa Ana's (read: hot and dry desert winds with lots of Choo! pollen in the air).

The plants are confused. All the leaves have fallen from the trees that do that, but for the maples and sycamores (which have all turned gold, red and orange), and some of my Spring bulbs are still flowering. Weird.

About 100 miles west south west of Paul C at the base of a finger of headland called the Lizard penninsular and it is wet tonight - been dry all day. Wet all weekend.

I'm in north Florida. Here it is almost the middle of November and it has yet to get cold. Last weekend we camped at Anastasia State Park, and on Saturday we went to the beach. I'd had my boogie boards in the back of my car since the last time I'd gone to the beach, which was sometime last month, and I'd taken them out because it's hard to pack everything you're going to need in a Nissan 240SX. Even after I took out the boards, the back seat was packed to the headliners. The water was still warm enough so that I was sorry I hadn't been able to somehow include them. The sixteen-year-old son of one of the couples we went with spent hours out there on his longboard. He wore surfing gear, but that was only to protect his tummy from getting abraded--the water wasn't really that cold. The last I heard of it getting really, really, cold, as in snow, was 13 years ago and I'm glad I wasn't there. I purely hate it when I go out to my car of a morning and have to scrape ice off my windshield. "Bah," I think to myself, "And this is supposed to be the south. Much more of this shit and I'm going to see if I can get transferred to Tampa."

Philly, PA, and it's raining today, temps dropping too...

(I was tempted to say I'm just off of mars and the meteor showers are lovely this time of year...)

Do Ringling Brothers still run a Clown School there?

People are forever telling me to get professional help.

LOL.........

Interesting question.........

In your dreams.....Utah of course. Though I write "secretly" because of the obvious "dogma" related with being associated with this state. Afterall...theres no such thing as 'erotica' in Utah,,,,,,,,,

I remain....anonymous

Seattle.

Where, after the 3rd driest and coldest October on record, we are now finally enjoying "real" fall weather.

In other words, it's been raining for days on end.

Madame Manga > now, when you say "northern" California, do you mean north-north, or "common perception Bay Area north"? I went to college at Humboldt State, you see ;)

90 minute drive north east of Toronto Ontario Canada, which interestingly enough, is precisely smack dab in the middle of an atypical boring spot of atypical average looking Canadian real estate.

We have all the popular stores (and large versions of them too). We just don't seem to have any exciting reason to be here (well when the trains dumped this town, this town became pointless).

down in the dirty south

in Atl...actually about 30 minutes north of Atlanta in the suburbs of Marietta. The weather here is chilly and getting colder day by day. This is the weather where you need someone with you can cuddle and....(let your imagination run WILD) :)

Wish was in NY right now, or even back in India...not 'cause of the weather...just 'cause like it better there. Better yet, if Lit-town was an actual place...would move there 'till the day I die!
:-D

'till next time...ciao.

I currently live in New York, but I was born and raised in Massachusetts. You don't get much more Yankee than me...I was born in Concord Mass.

Northern northern California, IMO, is neither nutty nor flaky. ;-) Once you get past Marin County, the world changes, and you might be in the Midwest, except for the occasional marijuana plot lurking in the redwoods.

I considered Humboldt State, as a matter of fact, but decided on UC Santa Cruz, for what reason I cannot now recall. Both of them had redwoods. ;-) UCSC was closer to home, however, which is still Silicon Valley.

isn't it great to be a Yankee

Would love to be in NY right now...in Central Park...with the leaves coming off the trees...and maybe you to keep me warm when the early winter wind blows past us....

...it doesn't hurt to dream...!

Connecticut, just a little north of NYC, I was born here. Spent my high school years near Boston, all girls school, now doesn’t that just suck. Then Iowa, Texas, England, back to Iowa before returning home a little over a year ago.

Currently I’m not home, I’m away, the weather here is a bit on the cold side, in the 50’s but I can see the sun occasionally.

My mother was born in Knoxville, IA but I don't feel connected to it--nor does she, in fact.

OTOH, I came up in Texas. Metro Houston area. What part were you in?
