We, as a species, have evolved from brutish scavengers to the civilized (?) folk we are today. If continued evolution is eventual, then I propose that with the amount of anal sex that is rampant in our societies anymore, humans will one day evolve to where we can have "butt babies." This would probably be science fiction. I couldn't write it, but I'd like to see what someone could do with the premise.

Try an SF universe with humanoids evolved from birds (which evolved from dinos -- a real velociraptor would be mistaken for a wild turkey) who thus possess a cloaca instead of distinct reproduction-elimination outlets. Every egg is a butt-baby. Or in our current universe, sinister bio-engineers devise a valve between anus and uterus. Why, I dunno -- they're evil or something.
