A fall blooming crocus. I think this is the best shot of all that I took yesterday; it is actually in focus and the color is good.

Having been raised on a farm I like gardening when I have the space and time, but I usually don't - my place has more weeds than flowers.

My uncle, who makes his living with flowers and other plants is the one primarily responsible for the flowers and gardening on the farm.

great pics....i saw the castor bean plant at a friends house this summer for the first time. i cannot get over how huge these things get. the red flowers are great. i am hoping to plant some in my flower beds next spring.
