Just drove 2400 miles. DC to Peoria and back to NYC.

Through the vast nothingness of southwest PA, into Ohio, Indy and on to Ill-of-noise. Then, visiting Sister Martha in Rock Island. Then back home on the high road - Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland, PA, Jersey and the Big Apple.

I would like to report that the Bread Basket is safe and sound - but depressed. Jobs are down. But hope is high.

And man - is some of that shit FLAT! Boring to drive through. Give me the mountains. I'll take the bad gas mileage anytime.

Oh yeah - the whole time, the baby was great, often in the car 9hrs a day. And me? I got pink eye and a sore throat. My eyes look like,like, like - blood oozing turkey waddles.

And, and, and - the Shebabe was on the rag the whole time!!!!

And I'm still jobless. And this is my life.

Sitter? you could have used our underpaid sitter, she can handle about 8 kids for her $3.00/hr.
