I have been 'lurking' for quite sometime (over two years) mainly when I was learning more and more about different lifestyles and embarking on my own training in the process. So I'd just like your opinion on something I've been wondering;

Just because I'm new to the site and somewhat new to many of the topics on the forums, does that still make my opinions valid? I sometimes feel like I shouldn't have room to talk since my experiences are quite limited when it comes to certain issues and I never want to sound like I know what's going on - but from what I have been exposed to, I like to share my experiences and basically get input on people's ideas about what I've been through and vice-versa.

BUT I've gotten a few PMs about how I shouldn't really speak on certain topics (mainly BDSM) because I don't know enough.. should I feel discouraged?

i personally wouldn't discuss things i'm not knowledgeable in... but if you are comfortable talking about it... then jump right in

I mean, it's not that I jump into threads I have no experience of knowledge in, but if there's a specific thread about something I'm interested in, or something I've had experience in, I like asking questions and getting people's different opinions on things.. in no way whatsoever have I jumped into a thread I had no knowledge or interest in :eek:

Personally I like it when new persons start posting on here, and they might even bring a new point of view on many things. So I say keep posting, and if anybody puts you down, ignore them.

Have fun! :rose:

There are folks who have nothing better to do than troll - ignore them and find the folks you enjoy talking to
