May seem like a "fool" to some, or "stupid", or "drugged", but he is a very groovy man. There's a side to him he does not share here at Lit, and I am glad I've been able to talk to him on the phone in the past.

Just because he posts rather incomprehensibly to most, doesn't mean he thinks that way or is that way IRL. I certainly don't know, but am more than willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Don't judge without knowing the facts. This goes for us all.

Demian is surely a wonderful person. I'll take your word for it.

But..what is the point of posting on a BB for over two years when no one understands a single thing you say? Seems a bit pointless to me. The unintelligible poetry is occasionally interesting, but why not just speak plain english, say every third post or so?

That's actually a very good question. I don't know. If I had to guess, I'd say he posts here for his own enjoyment, not for the rest of the board.

He has posted some things in the past which would have made NO sense to anyone else but he knew I'd understand the cryptic message. Even though it took me awhile to "get it." I just assume that some of his posts are the same kind of cryptic message to other people on the board, and I'm just not supposed to understand them.

We used to have "lovebirds" posting in French to each other. (Starting their own threads for it, too, I might add.) And we had some posting in Dutch(?)
