Hi, everyone...here I am, Bossy the virgin (WHAT???). I'm just trying to get a "hang" on things...so, I'll introduce my self...and if y'all could do the same...well, I reckon I'd appreciate it a mite bit!

Ya can call me Bossy (or bitchy...whichever you prefer!), I'm 20 years old, I live in Oregon, and I breed, raise and train Quarter Horses, Australian Shepherds and Australian Cattle Dogs for a living. I have two roommates, one is gay, and the other is a chef (LOL). I AM, believe it or not, a virgin (How'd the damn computer know?? Is it THAT obvious?) Oh yes...

LOL! There's plenty more, but after re-reading what I just typed, I figured you'd all be just about asleep from reading by now! So, I'm off, hoping to know more about everyone by tomorrow night!

Thank ya,
Bossy Aussie

Hi Bossy. Thanks for the introduction. You sound like an Aussie (and call ourself Aussie and breed Aussie stock) ....but live in Oregon? Is there also an Oregon down under?

Without wanting to seem impolite, I think that you'll find out more about us by simply reading through some of the threads on this BB. You'll probably form a more honest opinion about those of us who lurk here if you do this, than you would by asking us for a precis.

Thats the strange bit about life. Sometimes, even on a BB we reveal so much detail about the personalities that we really are. And so for you, part of the excitement may be in filling in the missing pieces as we go along. For those of you who know of the great English philosopher, John Locke, he thought of people as all being blank slates at birth. He called this "tabula rasa". He then suggested that we all write in that which we are as we live life. To him, people represented the sum total of all of their life experiences.

Quite interesting huh? This BB is a similar thing. I think that I could tell quite a bit about most of the regular people who dwell in here - those who over time have become my friends.

Good luck Bossy.

Hello and Welcome

LOL! Well...I was gonna reveal that part as well...but I figured "Do ya HONESTLY think they want your life history, Love?"

But, since you asked...

I was born in Alaska, but my mum is Australian, and my daddy is Irish...I've got a bit of a whacky accent, seein' as how it's kind of "Aurish"
smile.gif
anyhow...lived in Australia until I was four...but only with my mum (who was still married to my dad), and then we moved back to AK...interestin' enough? LoL. Didn't think so!

Oh, not impolite at all! No worries.

I agree completely...just thought it would be nice to get all the info. I could out of anyone who'd give it here!

Hello Bossy Aussie! But damn she combinds my two favorites into one completely new flavor! Aussie and Irish! Woohoo!!!

How would this "Aurish work???

"Arr, ye wee lass! No worries!" Hmm... Sounds good to me... Heheh!

As a side note, my faked irish accent always sounds like a pirate...

And my aussie one makes me sound drunk...

LOL! Well...ya've almost got it right there. But it's a bit fainter'n that...I've been workin' on my "American" accent...makes it far easier for customers to understand me!

As a side note, my faked irish accent always sounds like a pirate...

Hey! When I was just a wee lass, I always wanted to marry a pirate! No worries.

And my aussie one makes me sound drunk...

so - no change there then!

Hey, welcome to the board aussie person. Nice people here but be careful some of them are not quite who they seem. I heard one small rumour about this bloke masquerading as a girl...

Nice to meet you Aussie,,,austrailian shepards are one of the smartest breeds of
dogs I think I've ever owned,,just lost two,
the female was 14 years old and my male was 13,,they were like kids to me,,never slept outside a day in their lives,,never had to tell them anything twice,,and all they expected in return was a little affection..
I think you'll enjoy yourself here,,alot of interesting people, some with intelligent
replies too,,,with an asshole or two like me thrown in just to keep things sane
smile.gif
Really I'm a nice guy,,just ask me I'll tell you
smile.gif

Ravenloft I always thought that your Aussie accent sounded alright, or is it just the fact that I am used to talking to you drunk.
biggrin.gif

It would realy help if Ravenloft learned how to drink, instead of spilling it all over himself and acting drunk, trueth is he can't walk a strait line sober so why should he walk one when he is trying to be drunk.

Did you?? How wonderful for you! What were their names? I would love to hear all about them! We just had a litter on Valentine's Day. 14 puppies on the 14th. I love it!

Bossy, the Aussie Mum.
