Junkfood!

Let me preface this by saying that I normally eat fairly healthy. I don't have much of a sweet-tooth, and I'm much more likely to pull the bag of carrots out of the fridge for a snack than a bag of chips.

However....

I've just found the junkiest snack!

I love jalapenos, so I buy the jalapeno pepper pringles (added plus is that no one in the house will eat them but me). Squeeze on a touch of easy cheese, another pringle on top, and voila! Junkfood heaven!

What's your secret junkfood indulgence/shame?

Soda.

Not really secret if you read my purple pee post yesterday. Nothing good whatsoever about it and in fact it's quite harmful in more than one way, diabetes, ulcers, tooth decay, weight gain, etc. But I am so addicted to it sometimes I inhale with my nose right at the opening of the bottle just to feel the fizz go up my nose.

Bits 'n Bites. So tasty. And so many different textures. Yummy.

you know what I miss since I've been back in the states?

Fries and gravy, and poutine.

Go to Quebec. It's the national food there.

I understand that you can get it in Ottawa as well, which is just across the border from Quebec. Been years since I've been to Ottawa. It's known as The City That Fun Forgot. ;)

I kind of switch back and forth. Right now it's pepsi. A few months from now, it'll be coke. (I've written so many smutty stories that anytime I go to type coke, it comes out "cock".)

Watch it, snow-boy. :D

We have plenty of fun ... we just go to bed early.

One thing I notice about other cities is the definite lack of chip trucks on every corner in the downtown core. How else to office workers get their Friday fix of poutine (food of the gods) and a pogo?

I know about the lack of chip trucks though. Only place you can find them is in front of City Hall. Sigh

I'd have to say my biggest junk food addiction would be donuts.I LOVE jelly donuts 'specially!! It's a good thing I moved further south and not north, or I'd be crossing the border all the time to go to Tim Hortons ( best coffee in the world eh?)

I'm not a coffee drinker... *shrug* I've never been to a Tim Hortons or a Starbucks in my life...

Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins, however... (what is UP with that evil combination!?) um... yeah.........

Creme brulee... junk food? Chips and jelly beans are junk food. Creme brulee is more like ambrosia. Tonight's white chocolate creme brulee was food for the gods, never junk food.

For me it's Pepsi or Coke,
