A little blurb on the American Movie Channel, AMC, noted a special award to be presented by the Industry, Tom Hanks appears to be the MC, to be aired in the next few days.

I enjoy her work and my personal opinion that she is surpassed by few, if any and equaled by few, is just that, my personal opinion, love that lady.

As you well know another personal opinion of mine, that I attempt to support, from time to time, is that Hollywood, the movie industry in general, around the world, in fact, the arts community is a left wing liberal sanctuary and that the liberal agenda plays part and parcel of films, books, indeed, the entire entertainment world.

I ask you to think objectively of the specific films I point out here and judge for yourself if they contain a political agenda.

# Mona Lisa Smile (2003)
#Erin Brockovich (2000)
# Conspiracy Theory (1997)
# I Love Trouble (1994)
# The Pelican Brief (1993) .... Darby Shaw
# Pretty Woman (1990) .... Vivian

Now, those are just the ones I have seen and remember, there may or may not be more.

I don't mind a book or a film having a political agenda, by definition, all do. However, I do tire of the continual harangue against big business, pollution, global warming, pro abortion, pro gay, pro equal rights, in other words, the entire Liberal agenda being almost always the theme in so many films and books and works of art.

For those of you who feel that these issues are critical and crucial and need every ounce of exposure and propaganda they can get, well, be all warm and fuzzy, cuz you get the lion's share of it.

But there are those of us who enjoy art, in all forms, that must sigh and frown as this agenda is forced upon us.

I do not expect to change anything you believe, but the next time you enjoy something that clearly exhibits the Liberal agenda, maybe you will rejoice that Amicus squirms and complains.

Julia Roberts is a fine actress, I also like some of the films of Barbra Streisand and Jane Fonda, a couple more flaming Liberals with talent and no brains.

:)
