Judo's Gunfight Thread - Part 3

The 3rd edition of Judo's Gunfight Thread is coming.

Tentatively set for Sunday, July 11th at 2AM GMT* right here in this thread, the gunfight will oppose:

POET 1: BooMerengue
POET 2: Angeline

We will need 3 volunteered judges ASAP. Post here or PM me if you're up to it. At the stoke of midnight, I will post the poetic inspiration that will preside to this gunfight. There will be a 2 hours period to complete the assignment, and the judges will evaluate the poems in terms of response to the challenge and overall quality of the poem within the following 24 hours.

I guess thats as good a time as any for me to crash and burn!

I was scared but not now. It'll be a fun exercise. And besides that, now all of you can see how Ange picks on me. This was her idea. She coerced me.

Ok. It doesn't have to be on a weekend for me either--any night is fine except for when there are four people and one computer.

I'm so sorry. The only time during the week I can get on the computer is after 11:00pm. We have 6 people using 1 here, and it blocks the phoneline. I'm a pain in the ass, I know, but that's the way it is.

Lets wait to see what the judges say. We might not HAVE any so it'll all be moot anyway.

I changed the date to the following weekend and will keep it there unless you tell me it's a no-go. In which case, we'll reschedule. There will be no backing out of a gunfight here.

Don't let that sissy eastern demeanor of the bagel-toting New Yawker catch you unawares Boo, she's got a set of eagle-eyez that see everything!

Ange, you've got yourself a battle coming up. Boo will have a flowing beauty of a poem quicker than the blink of an eagle's eye and purtier than the mango-tinted, prairie sunsets I've been treated to this week.

I prefer lady to sissy, lol, but I do have me some New Yawk ways. And I know what Ms Merengue can do with a few good words. I'm looking forward to it in my sissified way.

1) Its a conspiracy to keep my spirits raised

2) I have a separate me who does poetry.

I promise you- I am not coy. I truly do not see what you guys see. And I am not fishin here. I really mean it!

But... I won't venture into that street unarmed. I have saved to fav's all my bullets... ie: a thesaurus, a dictionary, and short instructions on different forms. I wish I could add a joint to the list, but thats out fer shure! Too many kids here.

Actually I'm looking forward to it. We shall see...
