Judge sides with Trump in Planned Parenthood suit over changes to federal funding

A federal judge ruled in favor of the Trump administration — and against Planned Parenthood — in a lawsuit over changes to a government-funded family planning program.

Planned Parenthood sought to have the changes thrown out, arguing they are unlawful because the administration did not go through a formal rulemaking process, which requires a public notice and comment period, when it altered the program.

Planned Parenthood also argued the new requirements go against federal law because they put a greater emphasis on natural family planning instead of access to forms of contraception approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

While McFadden didn't rule on the merits of the case, he said the administration's changes still align with federal law.

What a load of shit.

We already snipped off Planned Parenthood's rotten danglies by outlawing federal funding for abortions through the Hyde Amendment. Planned Parenthood is the only provider of NOT-abortion-related basic health/reproductive care for women in many areas, including prenatal care. Why cut funding for that when you've already cut funding for actual baby murder? This new move is pure, pointless act of misogynistic spite.

Y'all wanting to ban abortion and then make it so women can't get contraception, either... that combo is going to bite you on the ass when women decide to agree with your abstinence ideology and none of you wiggas are getting laid anymore.
