The mall was the last place one would expect to meet a celebrity, let alone one from another country. And yet, it was at the mall, while shopping in a video game store for something new to play that Kain Cirrus met her. It had been by accident, actually. They had both reached for the same game and butted heads, literally. He apologized profusely, then looked at who he was apologizing to. His eyes widened, and he was about to say something when her hand clamped over his mouth, and she put a finger to her lips, shushing him. He blinked in confusion, then nodded slowly. When she took her hand away, she smiled, and took the game. Oddly, she had grabbed two copies, and gone up to the counter. He sighed, then shook his head. He walked towards the exit of the store, and was surprised when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around just in time to be handed the second copy of the game. He blinked again, looking at her, and couldn't help but return the smile she gave him. Then he watched her start to walk away.

Kuni had walked into the mall out of the oppressive heat, her long balck hair flowing down her back, a pair of sunglasses covering her large dark almond shaped eyes, she headed right for the video game store, wanting to pick up a copy of her favorite game before her body guard caught up to her and drug her back the boring hotel.

Not really paying attention as she reached for the game she butted heads with someone. looking up she saw that he recgonized her, quickly clamping her hand over the guys mouth she put her fingers to her lips not wanting any more attention. He knodded that he understood so she pulled her hand away smiling.

Quickly she grabbed two copies of the game, bring them both to the counter she quickly asked the clerk for a marker, signing one of the copies she turned to see the young man walking out of the store, dashing to catch up to him she put her hand on his shoulder.

Handing him the copy of the game she had signed she winked at him and begain to strole away.

Kain blinked, looking at the young idol in shock as she walked away. Not only was she far more gorgeous in person than on stage, she was kind and compassionate, as well as friendly to her fans. He just stared for a moment, then realized he was missing his one chance to get to know her. He ran off after her, catching up quickly. Then he fell into step beside her, walking in silence for a moment before speaking. "So, what's a gorgeous idol like you doing in a place like this?"

"So, what's a gorgeous idol like you doing in a place like this?" I here the yound guy from the video stroe say as he catches up to me.

Looking over at him i smile. He seemed nice enough and he hadn't blown my cover so i decided to talk with him as I walked.

"I'm actually her on vacation/filming video while at it. Then it is off on tour, always busy, I never have time to be me, thats why i ditched my body guard and took off to the mall, thought maybe i could go shopping or something, you know act normal for a day."

I smile at him as he knods his head.

"So what are yo doing here?"

He grinned, then shrugged slightly. "I got bored, went looking for a new game. Didn't expect to run into you here. I'm Kain, by the way. So, how long do you think you have before this bodyguard of yours shows up? Time enough to go find something more entertaining to do?" He smiled, looking at her for a moment.

I smile up at him, he is my kind of guy, not just cute but funny.

"Um I don't know how long I have but does this mall ahev an arcade, i'd love to play some games." I laugh and smile, today may just get better yet.

 

[dragonrazor]

He considered for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah. It's on the other side of the mall. It'll be dark enough in there that you can hide from him too." He grinned, then started off down the corridor, heading in the direction of the arcade.

I flow him through the crowd of people in the mall, slipping my hand into his so that I don't loose him.

"um just so I don't lose you" I smile at him, any one watching would just think we were a couple shopping at the mall, not worth a second glance.

He blinked, looking down at her hand, then up at her face, and smiled at her explanation. It would make a good disguise, he thought. As long as no one recognized her, anyways. He led her through the mall, then ducked into the arcade with her. He bought some tokens at the counter, then smiled, and looked at her. "So, pick a game."

I duck into the arcade with him, watching as he gets the tokens.

"So, pick a game." he says to me smiling.

I take a few steps forward looking around, "i know is strange but one of my favorite games is pop it" I smile and shrug my shoulders looking all cute and innocent.

"can we play that first? Just a warning I am the pop it Queen."

He raised an eyebrow, then smiled. He motioned her over to the machine, and then followed her over to it. He couldn't believe how beautiful she was. He figured he didn't stand a chance in hell of landing a girl like her, but he'd definitely enjoy his time keeping her safe from her bodyguard and her fans. He couldn't help but have his eyes rove her body though. He suddenly wished he were as famous as her, so that he'd be more interesting to her.

I watch him check me out out of the corner of my eye, he was bold bit I was used to it, atleast he was not leering at me most did.

He handed me a token and I placed it in the machine, quickly I passed the first, second, third and so on til I was at the final stage, the game here was easier then at home, less levels, but still it held some challenge.

"Yes" I exclaim as I beat the final round.

Looking over I see him smiling at me.

"Care to try?"

He raised an eyebrow, then shook his head. "I never really got the point of this game. Not my cup of tea anyways. I'm more into RPGs and fighting games." He smiled, then divided up the tokens.

 

[prissy_kytten]

"Um fighting games" I say smiling at him.

"Which do you prefer, I am game to try anything......once." I wink at him.

"Besides you already know that I play RPG's, though they are not arcade type games, this time you chose, I well bow to to your wisdom."

*Laughs*

He considered for a moment, then shrugged, and walked over to the only Darkstalkers machine in the arcade. He dropped in a token into the slot, and selected Morrigan, then waited for her. Once she'd picked her character, he stretched, and popped his knuckles, then set his hands on the controls.

I follow him to the machine watching him as he prepares to play the game, placingmy hands on the controls I smile, i have never played this game before.

"Are yo prepared to see a master...." I laugh "Master button masher that is"

He raised an eyebrow, then grinned, and as the match started, he did his best to go easy on her. He'd been using Morrigan as a fighter since the beginning, pretty much. She was still his best character to use.

I look at him grinning, not really needing to look at the controls as I was just mashing the buttons.

I could telling he was trying to be nice as I landed a few hits on him, not knowing how I managed.

He smiled, and looked at her when the match was over. "Want to continue, or find another game?" His unspoken thought was 'or go somewhere to get to know each other better, maybe show me how good you are with that gorgeous body of yours.'
