Seems everyone has an opinion.

I have too, as my daughters loved this show. I formulated mine long before the recent tabloid hoo haa...(trumped up to promote show...? )

[I am practically living it... without so many kids, or TV, or paparazzi, or cash, or college coeds, or beer, or blond hair coloring]

My wife dragooned me into watching the show a few times...yeesh! If I was John I'd be living in a cave in Patagonia right about now. Between that bitch he's chained to and those 8 crumb snatchers running around, it's a wonder he hasn't gone postal. Now that would be a reality show!

Let just say if I found Kate eating crackers in my bed, nekid, I wouldn't throw her out.

In fact, it makes me very uncomfortable to watch.

I'm sure...the guy seems to be mild mannered...but I'll bet he's a volcano of emotions ready to blow sky high. He definitely needs some backbone (and balls) to put that harpy he's sentenced to in her place.

I prefer a woman who is not distracted by the bodily fluid getting on the sheets. I'd also rather not have to hold her down to fuck her.

Hey I don't watch the damn show so I have no idea what she is like on a personal level. I've just seen pics and seen her on the news.

I'm pretty strongly opposed to couples who already have children getting additional fertility treatments. It's expensive and somewhat dangerous. Often times it either fails, or results in too many children.

From what little I know of them, Kate seems a little self-centered. Jon seems a little weak, choosing to act passive-aggressively rather than facing his unhappiness.

They should have stopped at two kids. I'd actually either like to see legislation or some sort of medical reform preventing this and octomom from happening.

I was more interested in the couples' interpersonal relationship. (which, of course is affected by the number of kids)

For starters, she could be a partner, not his mother. She's always correcting or contradicting him, won't let him talk 1/2 the time and is forever telling the kids the opposite of what he's told them to do or not do. She treats him like he's retarded and he puts up with it. I guess it beats paying alimony for that litter. He'd be living under a bridge somewhere clutching a 28 ouncer when the court got thru with him. He's in Hell.

There is a lot of gossip about Jon and Kate being unhappy with the current state of their marriage, and veiled references to splitting up. However, all of these have conveniently cropped up just in time to promote the premiere of Season 5....

I agree, that is a good place for a spouse to be. (not the under a bridge part...being a partner part).

Yes, truly. However, there was something (less sensational than an AFFAIR! ) that was obvious long before. Body language and interactions.

Hmmm...I'm guessin' no on both counts. The interpersonal dynamics of that relationship are pretty well set. They'd prolly react differently if they had different partners...his accomodating, hers authoritative...but they are what they are.

I bet it's a whole new ball game once the cameras are gone for good.

Truly. The kids seem to be reasonably well adjusted in spite of their life in a fishbowl and their parents relationship. If given a choice, would they live with mom or dad? I'm guessin' dad...he's easygoin'.

It seems there is some talk of her having a show of her own... according to internet sources seems they have both had affairs...
I haven't watched the show in a really long time though...
