Jon:

I don't know why you think your stories are not well-written...I just read Absolution....in the Non-consent section. It was absolutely believeable; I felt every word...and exulted when Angela had beat the fuck out of HD. I even understood why she felt utter hatred for the rapists, and lust for the one male that did not...

To me, the proof of a good story is being sucked into it...feeling like you are really there. I don't go in for all this shit about syntax or properly paragraphed stories...It is the people, events, smells, feelings....that make it real to me---not the grammar.

I personally feel, Jon, that you did an excellent job on that story!

Sincerely....

Thanks for the sentiments you expressed about my writing, it was very kind of you.

However although imagination is a gift, writing is a craft and a discipline that requires skills which have to be worked upon. I have always thought the writers of plays, who predate novelists, had it right when they called themselves PLAYWRIGHTS. Wright as in Wheelwright, Shipwright etc., craftsmen who learnt to use their god-given skills.

Sometimes Suzi my sentence construction, grammer, and punctuation are abysmal, (as is my spelling when unspellchecked - I think I have just invented a word).

As a writer of erotic fiction I am often to longwinded on the build-up. I do my best I am glad you like "Absolution for Sister Angel", go and read my other 9 stories and then give me your honest opinion.

Thanks again for the ego boost.

Apologies for breaking in here but I just want to say that stories can be ruined by the too correct use of grammar, punctuation etc.

I've read your work jon and I find nothing wrong with it all.

But you have a different style to me. I write to make a story flow, regardless as to whether the grammar, punctuation is correct or not.

And quite often I can't remeber the damn rules anyway. :)

The only thing in writing which is disrupting to my mind, is bad spelling. That does put me off...

:D

OK P_P_MAN you hooked me!!!!!!!!!

The story about the car was very good.

Thank you and Suzi for boosting my ego - Maybe soon I'll be either self publishing a couple of e-books or will have found a publisher.

I agree stories write from the gut or heart, - the stream of consciousness. Afterwards I try to edit using my brain. I do not follow the rules slavishly; but when I choose to ignore them, I can justify my decision.
